He’s been a regular all season, although he took a knock in the Welsh Cup semi-final last week, and missed the last game. TNS have done a lot of squad rotation this season, saving their strongest team for their European games and trying to keep everyone happy, so he hasn’t started every game but he is a regular starter. I’ve seen quite a lot of TNS this season, and Rory Holden looks a quality player at that level. I can’t say the same for Oteh, despite scoring a few, I haven’t seen anything that makes me think we made a mistake releasing him.
I totally agree that we were right to release Oteh, based on his performances for us, but 18 goals in 31 appearances for TNS is a good return, even in the Cymru Premier. Good luck to him now he has found his level.
Gareth Ainsworth leaving Shrewsbury to become manager of Gillingham
That’s a shame, he was doing a splendid job there, fourteen points from safety. Thank you, Agent Ainsworth.
Sads in at shrews
You may be right if it all goes pear shaped here no way can he carry on as manager if we don’t get promoted he’s got to do one
Hemmings again for Kiddy after just 4 mins away at Brackley Town
Sam Mantom training to become a referee:
My day with the ten former players training to become referees
Butler was training to be a ref while he was playing here but chose the coaching route.
Top referees can earn £250,000 a year.
Not so much of where is he now…but it has popped up on my social media memories today … Roger Boli
Still the best goal I’ve ever seen at Bescot
Interview with Nathan Lowe about being recalled:
Lowe is a sensible lad
He chose to come here, ahead of lower League One clubs, even though he did not expect us to be pressing for promotion after finishing 11th, and it is a bit disappointing, but no real surprise, that he prefers to be training at a Championship club where he has been since he was nine, and sitting on the bench for Stoke, than scoring goals for fun in League Two.
He was not given the chance of staying, but from this short interview he would not have been tempted, since he had already proved himself at this level.
