Former players - where are they now?

Safe though. They were looking iffy a few weeks back.

Not a former player as such but former youth team player..

Joined Walsall aged 10, signed by Manchester City aged 15.

Two long haul away days and two renewed rivalries closer to home. Set the satnav for these and Barnet now

Connor Johnson scored the winning penalty for Kettering in their play off semi final win versus Harborough Town last night. Final v Telford on Monday.

And Charlie Wragg* scored for Halesowen but sadly it wasn’t enough to overcome Telford Utd.
Come on Kettering!

*Technically not a former player I suppose.

Tom Leak was on the winning side for Chester against Buxton last night, in the Conference north play offs. Chester are away at Kidderminster in the next stage, with a number of ex-Saddlers playing at Aggborough.

I remember him catching a corner against Bradford, unfortunately he was playing right-back at the time! And fatboy Cook slotted the pelanty to score the only goal of the game in a freezing cold Tuesday night at the Bezla!

I went to the Telford game. They were awful for 40 minutes and deservedly behind, but 2 quick goals just before the break, and a massively improved second half got them through. Wragg’s goal (to make it 2-2) was a great header from the centre of the box. Against the run of play and Halesowen’s joy only lasted a few minutes before Telford got the winner - although the Halesowen keeper saw his header touched onto the bar and over in the dying seconds.

Afterwards in the pub we listened to the penalty shootout at Kettering. Finally ended 4-3 - after 14 penalties!!!

I was on the same train as Phil Brown this morning, should have asked if he was interested in a new role….

Presumably Wragg is now available for Saturday?

Ugh. Wouldn’t want him near the club, nor their ridiculous director of football.

Kiddy can’t afford them, and Walsall probably couldn’t either thankfully!

I do agree @Superdon that’s why I didn’t! :joy:

Good to see Rico Henry getting a full 45 mins in for Brentford vs Forest . Didn’t look rusty at all . Fingers crossed no more significant injuries .

Although not in the matchday squad due to injury, Elijah Adebayo has relegated with Luton following their defeat at West Brom. Wonder if someone will tak a punt on him in Championship following his Premier League return last year…

Even if they do it will be a considerably lower value to make much of a difference to us. That sell on clause ship has sailed, again.

Injured and had a poor season. Time to sell was last summer, Luton aren’t getting huge amounts with them in league one and with a big wage bill.

The sell on curse strikes yet again…!

Two time former LB Mat Sadler is currently terrorising the Peoples Republic of Wednesbury by ransacking the town of any joy, hope or pride under his current guise of head(less) coach.

I think we can just agree the whole club is cursed. Nothing ever goes our way
