FourFourTwo League 2 Prediction

What’s the fastest a team have gone non league to premier league?
Wrexham will go up every year now til they hit the top x it’s what everyone apparently wants x

Pretty sure that would be Wimbledon. 1977-1986.

Luton 2014-2023?

Macclesfield did chucked out of the league to (Northern) Premier in a pretty short time - does that count?

Northampton Div 4 to Div 1; in 5 years, 1960/61 to 1965/66

And back again I think.

yep

In the 71-72 season I saw Huddersfield play at Wolves in the proper First Division and by the time they knocked us out of the F A Cup in 75-76 they were in the Fourth Division. Three relegations in four seasons, which Wolves beat in the 80s with three in consecutive seasons, although their crowds never dropped below 30,000.

Yep, you’ll never find a fan who admits they stopped going. All of them were in the diehard 2000 that they went down to. About 50,000 of them went to Chorley.

We’ve come through pre season unbeaten and have only picked up a niggle or two injury wise so the players look like they are buying into what Sadler is asking if them which is a good starting point.I don’t think we’ll light league two alight but I reckon if we can keep players fit we just might float just outside the playoffs all season.I’ll go for a 9th place finish.

I think walsall will give it a real good shot. like all the positivity coming from the club we have better players than last year we have more quality up front imo so 7th place for me UTS

Luton have taken about 11 years haven’t they so feasible Wrexham could do it in 8-9 years.

Swansea nearly went down into non league in 2002/03 (stayed up on final day) and played in premier league in 2011/12 season.

Luton did it in 9 seasons when searching online. Won the National League in 2013/14.
