Matt seems to push his man to be fair.
Fairly even half for me and actually we probably had the better chances. Lots of room for improvement but we can win this one.
Hopefully. Just need to bring the right subs on at the right time!
Finished the half really well and the refs had a shocker there by disallowing that goal.Very poor decision.
Unlucky to have that chalked off. If anybody’s giving that it should be the lino who had a front on view rather than the ref who’s looking from behind 25 yards away.
Played well. Just a bit clumsy and rushed at times at both ends.
I’d take this right now. Back to clean sheets and an away point at what look like a good top half team.

He does, but there was no foul there. The defender knows he’s not going to get a touch on the ball and just went down.
The ref couldn’t wait to blow his whistle.
Matt should not be starting every game and when he does should not be on the field for more than 60 minutes.
Especially when we have a finisher on the bench not getting game time

I hope Grimsby won’t improve much for the second half, but if not, it can be very tough. They can create better chances.
Nothing wrong with that goal in my view. Very poor decision.

Matt pushes the defender granted, but he’s not stopping the goal is he!!
He’s giving a foul just for the sake of it, instead of using his brain.
We are not playing well, our passing is off, and we look a bit dodgy in defence from time to time, but we are battling hard and still in the game. Most probable result 0-0, but I think we are as likely to win as Grimsby.
Indeed. Would the ref have given a penalty if the defender had pushed Matt like that?

I’ve watched it a few times Mazza. There is minimal arm contact from both of them and the Grimsby player is off balance and falls over.
Awful decision… not a chance a forward gets that decision if its the other way around.

We rode our luck at times in the half, but we finished strongly and why the goal by Liam Gordon was disallowed is beyond me. I’m sorry, you can say what you like about Matt he just doesn’t know where the back of the net is.
Nobody has had a bad game, we just need the momentum we had at the end of the half into the second 45 minuets and put severe pressure on them by banging in a couple of Goals!
No team changes to start the 2nd half.
