Grimsby Town (H) March 8th, kick-off 12.30pm

Weir, DJ, McEntee…. We have brought in Chang from the blues and the lad from Stoke as well plus Wheatley and the fella from Charlton. If these players are all of sudden not good enough send them back!

Every team in this league made new recruits in January and deployed them and intergrated them into their sqauds to make them better except US we made 4 and intergrated 1, Bradford made 4 at BEGINNING OF JANUARY and immediately when Cook got injured changed style and went on a run , we have Sadler who REFUSES to change EVEN the bench never mind the starting 11 and this team as it stands today will not get Automatic or Promotion via the play offs, SO THAT IS ON YOU MAT, NOT THE FANS WHO TRAVEL UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY IN NUMBERS BELIEVING WE MAY GET PROMOTION OUT TJUS SHIT LEAGUE

Oh and by the way we are in relegation form NOT promotion form

Well said.

I also took umbrage at Sadler’s comment about ‘never seeing lack of effort’ from the players

Sorry but today we did. For the first goal no one closed the lad down and just allowed him a free hit. Then prior to the second goal both Laikin (I think) and Gordon could have cleared that ball before Taylor made his challenge. They chose to ball watch instead

Whilst I will give him his dues in every other match the players have given their all (Barrett aside) but today I do not agree.

I think this is the start of the end for Mat Sadler. When he eventually goes it will be the period from Cheltenham to here where we start to see his lack of ability to unravel

We might have to put up with him the start of next season he may do some damage in the transfer market or early doors points wise but this is the beginning of the end !

Oh and bye the way Mat Cheltenham was on you and so was Carlisle NOT THE FANS

I also saw a couple of players bottle out of challenges today.

Barrett’s was the obvious one where rather than risk a clash of heads he just ducked the challenge.

Sadler’s struggling. He’s drowning in his own dogma. Refusing to play the lads he signed in January is weird. His meme fest of soundbites is wearing thin.

And his veiled digs at us lot is poor form.

If you started the season with Adomah and Harrison up front , you’d be expecting relegation not promotion.

Can anyone explain how MS feels Adomah is more productive as a striker when everyone (absolutely everyone bar MS) knows he’s so much more valuable as a RWB………

Just does not make sense…

Firstly, we we’re comfortably beaten today by a decent team. Not a great team, just tidy and effective.

Secondly, the lack of a ‘plan B’ or anything which may come as a surprise to the opposition is really hurting us now. We have become so predictable and teams know how to set up against us. Sadler seems lost in how to solve this problem. Surely we have to try some of the loanees, a different formation, anything which may unsettle who we are playing against.

Finally, Sadler’s communication in post match summaries is becoming really poor. Lots of words coming out but nothing of meaning actually said. Just endlessly repeating himself. I hope his pre-match team talks are a lot better!

Really hope Sadler gets us over the line but he needs to start learning pretty quickly and adapting to the situation before all the good work is wasted.

Heard 2 post match interviews and don’t feel he’s had too much of a dig at the fans, unless I’ve missed a real howler of a comment.

Being kind to him I’d say he just wants as much vocal backing and encouragement for the team as possible and tbf he’s spoken in very warm words about the support all season. Perhaps he didn’t take too kindly to the gallows humour when we went 2-1 down, following the Grimsby chant of “top of the league and you effed it up” with “top of the league and we effed it up” or the booing but i sense he’s just frustrated things aren’t working out as they were.

He confuses effort with performance. In statements he always praises the effort but won’t publicly acknowledge when we’re not performing well and we’re clearly not.

To moan about the pitch was weird as Grimsby seemed to have little trouble knocking it about nicely on the deck whereas we couldn’t control the ball, or get our passing game going and played mostly hoofball.

That will happen if you ignore them, and just hear what you want too :man_shrugging:

The less said about today the better.

We’re still top
We’re still two points clear of Bradford
We’re still eight points clear of 4th and 12 points clear of 8th.

Fifteen points to 83 , 10 games to go , you can all do the mathes

We have still got this

In all seriousness @JoaquinErnesto i respect your views.

What’s your take on our January Window

What’s your take on Sadlers management of WFC at the moment. Beyond reproach ? Without fault still ?

His post match interview is no different to the rest he does. Waffle cliche waffle cliche cliche try to sound sincere more waffle. Fail to notice i as manager impact results. Waffle cliche

This season it’s 55% win percentage, shit runs don’t mean shit all the time.

Hi, tell me about Silkeborg again why don’t you?

Oh yea, and we’re still top take the positves.

I’ve just watched the post match interview. 5 minutes of waffle.

He didn’t quite do a Richard Money “I could work for a Club as big as Man United in Scandinavia, the fans are ungrateful” but a good 3 minutes of it was basically saying we aren’t sticking with the team. I’m not that fussed, he can say what he wants. Richard Money got us over the line. I can’t see him doing it now. Relegation form for the last quarter of a season.

The gallows humour, that is very Walsall, I am sure he will hear much more of it before his time at Walsall is over.
