To be honest, I wasn’t really aware of Matt until he came over from FGR. Has he been having to play this role all his career?

We all know that, regrettably stubborn Sadler doesn’t, Matt will start up front (again) despite the fact that he is totally shagged and brings very little to our inept attacking options.
When we are losing at half time and everybody knows who should make way and who should come in to make an explosive impression, nowt will happen until the 84th minute when we are 2 or 3 nil down.
Someone above has even suggested Sadler will bring flush Gordon in to the team. As ridiculous as that may seem, I think he might..desperate.
Somehow don’t think that 20,000 “Walsall” “fans” will be clamoring for the prospect of another Wembley appearance, Colchester or Grimsby will sweep us aside in the knock out stage, after all we are the 4th Divisions bottom form side…well done Sadler. You’ve well and truly crushed our dreams of escaping this dreadful league.

Yes, you are probably right Geordie, what was i thinking! We were stretched today by nippy strikers, and i just want us to do something similar. Our front line is static

I fear you are right. We look a very poor team at the moment, devoid of quality and creativity. We need to get our best players on the pitch, and these are Simkin, McEntee, Asiimwe, Chang, Hall, Adomah and DJ. I would “rest” Stirk, Jellis, Gordon, Harrison and Comley. The others I would fit in around the 7 core players above!
Well the application form for Chang to start on Monday has been sent off to St Andrews but with the Royal Mail nowadays you never know.

@BillyBescot I’ll keep telling you I am right and that I was right. Because most times I posted my view. You were up to a pop at it. Whilst others like Coop can keep it civil and take it in good nature knowing we are all Walsall fans you seem to want to drop in digs like SadAct etc. Says more about you than it does me !
He also had two chances from crosses which is what he is in the team for, and fluffed both of them.

levi has to be starting caused more problems for the harrogate defenders in 25 minutes than harrison and matt did all game .

We played it down the sides and along the floor much better when Chang, assimwe and uncs came on. It changed things for the better. Should have happened at least 10 mins earlier imo.

Exactly. When we lost Lowe, we thought we’d bugger it up through not scoring enough goals, but it’s been almost entirely the opposite. We’ve beens shipping goals left right and centre, and a defence that was solid, worked in layers, and overlapped it’s efforts, has become disjointed, careless, uncoordinated and clumsy.

Yeah i agree, but having said that i always think Levi looks far more effective against a defence that may be tiring.
But Harrison is offering virtually nothing at the moment. He doesnt look anywhere near fit to me.
