*Except the sending off in the 2nd half at Bolton which was a shame as he’d had a solid 1st half.
I thought of that. I thought he was unlucky as the Bolton player hit him in the face then pretended to be injured. Poor refereeing in my view. In fact, White generally does not get involved in that type of thing, unlike Norman who was always pushing at the boundary. I always preferred White to Norman in the team.

Video of Hayden White explaining how he nearly got sacked mid season by Michael Flynn
He should have been sacked for being shite.
I know there has been some criticism of Barrett in recent months but he is streets ahead of White and we should be counting our blessings for that.
White sounds like how he played - frenetic , all a bit all over the shop
Think he’s a bit confused, he thought Matt Taylor replaced Flynn
Arguably one of the worst footballers I’ve seen in my 35 years of following the Saddlers. A close call between this guy and Osidebe.
I listened to that clip. What a wrong un.

Says that Sadler has created a toxic environment at the club and that he feels like we have the weirdest fanbase of all the clubs he’s played for in terms of expectation levels.
I’ve always said some of our fans have been our biggest downfall! Turns toxic way too quickly and then why would anyone want to give 110% and run through a brick wall when they see and hear the crap some people spout! The proof is in how many players leave us and do really well elsewhere. We are better together and we need to stick together when things aren’t going well. Stuff filters to the players and when that happens it becomes a massive downward spiral. I’m sure most of us remember that game we conceded and the singing from our fans was one of the most powerful things I’ve seen for a long time!
In all honesty I don’t think that is proof, I’d guess there are loads of players who leave other clubs to go elsewhere and “do really well”, some even ending up here with us.
Guess it depends on how you define “really well”. I had a look over the last 5 seasons outgoings, and could only really pick Adebayo, Scarr and Hutchinson (maybe Roberts at a push). If you think there are others it would be interesting to hear who they are, but that is 4 out of circa 50+ players released over that time period. Feels more like the few than the many.
Non League Footballer. Listen to that rubbish, it’s league two football your going to lose. It’s that mentality that kept us in the mess.
WRT some fans he is spot on
If he’s right about the fans he must be right about Sadler being toxic
Whatever fails to realise is some fans don’t want piss poor non league footballers at their club
Don’t think he says that Sadler has created the toxic environment does he, I thought he says that Sadler’s interviews are all positive but he doesn’t know what goes on behind closed doors. He then says it’s like the fans want Walsall to lose so they can have a go.
I agree about Sadler. He talks more about the fans and some of the nonsense which is posted on social media and on here. He might be a non league footballer but he is right about some folk who seem to want us to fail. There are one or two on here!!!
I had tried to remove any trace of Hayden White from my memory and then this brings it all back. Andrew Barrowman will be on the Graham Norton show next.
He couldn’t even remember what order the managers were appointed, it was only a couple of years ago. He couldn’t understand why Daniels was on more money than him.
I doubt he knows much about following a football club home and away, and he won’t know the journey we have been on to drain the life out of us.
I wish I hadn’t watched it now really.
Absolutely agree, what I took from it all was being a footballer doesn’t necessarily equate to understanding football.
I’ve watched the short version, can’t be bothered to watch the full version.
I’m confused about the timing. Have I forgotten a sending off? I thought he went off against Carlisle (?) on Easter Monday, which is hardly mid-season. Or was there an earlier one, pre-Christmas perhaps, that has slipped my memory and it’s that one he’s bladdering on about.
Anyhow, how many worse defenders have we had who have played regularly for a good length of time? Answers on the back of a postage stamp, please.
What he said about the fine sort of equates with the rumour at the time but not quite. The rumour at the time was that he wouldnt pay his fines to Flynn accumulated on the training ground i’m not sure what they were for but you know the type of things, being late, using phone etc, rather than a contractural fine which I would have thought being sent off is? They had a spin the wheel fines system at the training ground then.
