And I concur with Everton Andy.
First half was like an evenly matched bottom half championship game, which was magic for Donny, not so much Everton.
Second half was like a good championship side against a poor league one side.
Not sure I’d describe the atmosphere as raucous. Lots of Walton and Kirkdale moms taking their kids because it is the summer holidays, tickets were affordable and freely available.
But most relevant for us, Donny looked good for large spells.
