Agree, the Ques in the stadium suite from 1.30 were ridiculous.
I even heard ppl saying “bring back Jeff “

For some unknown reason there was less staff (3) working the bar than for any game last season, when we usually had 5 and no one queuing at all ?
New announcer is Stadium suite was also terrible especially when he read out the team sheet and announced he may struggle with some of the names!
Nay I suggest spending 5 minutes preparing before you next stand on stage

as I have said it will take time but even slight changes that have been posted on here would help, it’s up to owner and management to step up now because we stepped up yesterday.

Good service is not an optional extra,it’s all part of the admission price. The club are guaranteed 5,000 customers, what Pub or food outlet wouldn’t kill to know that at the beginning of the day,so they can plan for it and encourage them to come back again.Walsall seem to have the mind set that “we’ve got 5,000 people coming,we can make at least £10,000 profit on that”.Look after your fans Walsall,or they will start eating and drinking before they enter the Stadium, there are loads of other places to eat and drink you know.

You’ve always needed a step up chunk

I cannot believe some of the stuff I read here although I make it clear I am NOT accusing fellow fans of exaggeration. No what I cannot believe is as SIDSWIFTY says the Club are unable to cater for fans when they advertise a service but don’t provide the people to provide that service in a satisfactory manner. It needs fixing and quickly too…I hope the new regime will do just that.

Bar staff to inexperienced for big crowd get vicky back asap

Anyone know what happened to Craig Pead’s advertised pre-match interview in the Stadium Suite? The new host never even mentioned it …

I’m not having a moan for moaning sake but Ultimately the club are missing out on valuable profit - they lost a fortune yesterday in that stadium suite as it took me 35 mins to get served for a beer and I would of had more but didn’t want to Q in that again.
They knew they had above 5k coming … I also asked later in the Shiester suite how busy it was and the staff said it was steady - why of why didn’t they move bar staff across when it they were desperate?

It’s simple really. Limit the choice of drinks, have one person pulling pints of lager, another one taking the money and handing them over and get a good supply stacked up before half time.

That’s two bar staff sorted then have 2 or 3 more serving everyone who doesn’t want lager. Some people who just want pints and don’t want to wait will just have lager and everyone will be happy.

Might work, if it does I am Optimistic, if not I am Fred Bloggs.

One of the best kept secrets in the stadium suite is the second food kiosk. Whilst queues snake around the concourse on the retail park side, there’s never a queue on the hotel side.

My suggestion would be that we sell bottled beer from this second, lesser used kiosk, as well as food. Obviously it would be important to let folk know that this was available.

Would there be an issue with the ages of the staff in that kiosk if they were to sell alchohol?

Plastic bottled beers from the 2nd kiosk is a great idea.

Under 18’s can serve alcohol provided the sale is approved by an adult.

I’m sure we could arrange to just have 18+ folk working in that kiosk.

Important to note that they don’t serve chips at the 2nd kiosk. Outrageous!

Hope they have a delivery before Tuesday as the had run out of most beers in the stadium suite after the game and I was invited to Old Trafford a few years back for a champions league game and the Trafford arms had 100’s of pints pulled behind the bar and all they had to do was top them up when you went the bar 100’s in the bar and no queues not rocket science gets everybody away from the bar quickly

I remember Caldmore Liberal club used to do this over 40 years ago on a Sunday morning when opening times were 12.00 till 2.00pm.

We could do with that many working in the Bar …:grinning:
