He was very good for me on football manager haha. Welcome and another shrewd bit of business by the club I expect. Could have just left Hancock and Harper in but chose to upgrade.

No nothing about him.. only giving a 1 year deal doesn’t install confidence either as hancocks contract up end of season aswell
1 year contract what he wants or less risk for us if he doesnt do well?

Is it me or does this feel like a bit of a panic signing?
Hate to sound negative but it sounds like we got a quick cheap option in.

If that was the case we would’ve just kept harper. He was obviously planned in advance and grant must think he’s an upgrade on harper

After talk of Taylor Allen, and the lad from Villa and feel a bit underwhelmed by this signing I must admit. Same way I felt underwhelmed by signing the Bristol Rovers reserve keeper and that’s turning out to be a shrewd bit of business
Think we have to trust our recruitment team on this one. They’ve done well so far I think

I call it a punt, but fair enough. Good luck and many good games. I wonder if there’s a clause sewn into this deal.
I hope he is a better player as I just didn’t rate Harper, if he isn’t that is what I’m worried about, just the one year deal is a red flag though, makes it sound like they don’t know much about him, and they hope he comes good, or does he have injury history?
But yes, I can’t complain about the squad they are building so far, so maybe it’s just because I don’t know anything about the lad.
As I said I hope he proves to be a great signing for us.
