I have a theory i think Harper signed up on a decent wage so Grant has moved him on and brought Furlong in on a lower wage. To allow some wriggle room in the budget for another attacking player.

what if we get promoted and weāve got league 2 players on 2/3 year deals who canāt make the step up? Maybe heās good enough for league 2 but not league1? Then it would suit both. Hancock started the season well anyway.

Definitely needs more wages for this forward weāre gonna sign. Good business sense. Harper was 2nd choice LB so no doubt Furlong is on a bit less
