I was told Jermaine Jenas was coming out of retirement to sign for us…
Joe Jacobson from Wycombe, LB and CB
Those that doubted that this was going to happen need to give their heads a wobble
No mention of him returning to Tamworth on loan for the rest of the season.
An excellent bit of business, welcome to the saddlers young man.
Exciting addition! Exactly what we should have been doing for a while, investing in young exciting, sometimes local, talents in non-league.
Best January window in our history???
Earing signed extension
Gordon signed extension
Weir one for future
Jellis one for now?/future
Faal done ok at this level this season.
Gordon did ok at this level last season
Manny unknown quantity, but good to get cover at cb
Maybe a RWB but lets not start that debate, it’ll trigger a couple
Can’t see how he fits unless he is class he won’t start many over Comley earing stirk hutch
Glad we are looking at the best non league players and only 23
Young, talented and with potential is exactly the kind of signings we should be looking to make .
. A kind of conveyor belt and like weir he can hopefully step up when the likes of Gordon and hutch inevitably move on for a decent fees
Good to finally see some forward thinking from our club UTS
Good signing. Here’s hoping he lives up to the crushing weight of expectation about to land on his shoulders from some critics!
Good luck, Jamie.
Yes welcome Jamie. Obviously signed to play a key role in future seasons. Good to see a good strategy emerging in our transfer dealings. Signings of this sort won’t always work but like some others we have he is clearly hungry for games and wants to progress .
Would be good to know what we have paid Tamworth for him ?
Would imagine around 50-75 k
And going in the other direction …
They’re just Jellis
Seems like a new Walsall under Trivela, planning and investing for future and scouting local players
Well there’s no doubting that things aren’t different under Trivela.
Welcome to the Saddlers JJ.
I was going to add that, forgot, couldn’t be arsed to edit ha
