Scrimaldo no thanks lol
Please God, NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!
Which new year?
Pretty sure Khan is out of contract this week, what’s holding things up?
He’s still chundering everywhere, probably from being told “you’re on the bench this week, we’re starting Tyrese Shade ahead of you”.
There’s been a rumour it’s about vaccination status again could be true or not the amount of stuff that’s come out in the last few days
The small issue with that is … he’s been at the club months Not saying it isn’t true mind, and the club have decided, rather conveniently, it no longer wants unvaccinated players at the club.
“with Taylor later insisting it was due to illness”
That’s an interesting way of putting it. The Club have got themselves into such a mess that even when a player is said to be ill, some supporters won’t believe it and a debate starts as to what the real reason for the absence is. Pombear and his colleagues ought to be thinking about that, and pondering how it has come to this, and deciding what to do to become more credible in the eyes of cynical supporters.
Chances are he’s had a tummy bug or something, and he’ll be in the team next week, but…this is Walsall, and so it can’t be that simple. #soapoperasaddlers
If the other rumour about Perry having long Covid is true, maybe it’s a policy that has been made due to that.
Maybe. Who knows what is lie and what is truth at this stage.
This is probably why DC was really coy about revealing information about injuries etc as he probably didn’t know what version of the truth he was allowed to put out there
If that is the case why would the club just not come out and tell us same old walsall no one needs to know
Think how much easier it would be to just … be honest.
That said DC said it was a policy of his straight away and something fans of other clubs attested to. Because of course, the oppo must have been on tenterhooks as to whether they would be attempting to deal with Stuart Sinclair or Gary Liddle in midfield.
I thought he was fine to be fair. He’s got to add physicality but considering he is 21 playing in a position where experience is one of the key attributes I thought he handled himself well.
Obviously he wouldn’t be first choice, but he doesn’t need to be (well, unless we don’t sign another centre half or bring Monthe back in, but that’s hardly is fault either).
Jermaine Defoe as player/youth coach
I agree. He had two big, tough forwards to contend with and did OK.
Is Sadler injured by the way? If not, then why keep him as a player, if he is not in the squad now?
