Agree. As you said earlier a 50/50 signing. Completely get it. I’m on the positive side of that, as I’ve explained above, but also because I always had time for the guy.
Some (not you btw) just seem to want to kick the club, no matter what. Just don’t get it.

Had we signed him in the summer I think there’d be much more positivity given his goals record the previous season. Obviously you can never tell how a signing is going to do but you can definitely see the logic behind it. Gordon will do the leg work, run the channels and drag players out of position. It’ll then be on the likes of DJ, Hutch and Earing to exploit what space he leaves behind, as well as chip in with a few goals himself.

We are in talks with a young RWB from non-league. Not a loan, but a signing. Dropped to non-league after being released by a premier club, and has since gained a rep as a poweful attacking RWB. Depends if we can agree the fee

Id actually agree here, i bet he’s pretty good value for whatever your paying him in terms of “stats”. Cant be on gazillions at Burton im asusming we are paying most of his wages if not all.
If it goes through its one who.will do a job for us and potentially money on a future transfer

I really didn’t mind Flash the first time here, when given adequate service he was a genuine threat though his finishing was dire. No issues with his loan return but he cannot be regarded as a replacement for Draper. I’m hoping there’s more to come.
