Highlights here - but you have to sign up to watch them.

Great feedback @Locky appreciate that

Same for me. Worst was when odds go off from dangerous attack, you get excited…and then red card comes up which happened with Kinsella at Stevenage last season. :joy:

Official sites Q&A for the palace game clearly said parking was a fiver. I’m sorry the burger people chose to implement a system different to you and the stewards are encouraging people to follow the law.

Absolutely faultless execution from my point of view. Straight in, straight to seat. Couldn’t ask for more.

I like a perimeter and cashless. I had no issues buying drinks.

I like this team, and i like that Phillips up front. He will get goals.

We look light in attacking areas wide, which is expected. Mr Anderson the trialist looked a bit off the pace but he looks interesting enough to have on trial a bit more.

Shout out to Menayese too who looked really good, and White was a beast in the first half.

I’d get the people back who did the deep clean. Our seats were so dirty in the family stand my son didn’t want to sit back against them. I wrote clean me in the dirt and we have emailed the club. I appreciate no one has sat in them for 18months but they were supposed to have been cleaned. Having said that I enjoyed being back there today.

Just got back from a very pleasant afternoon watching the Saddlers.Very difficult to draw many conclusions but we are a big outfit and looked fit. Mills is obviously a squad player who can play a number of positions and the CF is promising although he will need more help than he got today. The goalkeeping position looks strong as both played well. I was impressed with the young lad Maher. Very impressed with Ash Taylor as well who looked every inch our Captain. Just looking forward to the season now.

He’s had a good league career but last played during 19/20 season so basically been out of football for 18 months. I presume Taylor knows him from Norhampton.

Interesting interview with local paper in Melton Mowbray where he is from:

It was the same in the upper tier. Some deep clean that was!

Ditto upstairs, they were really filthy.

and the lower, there was dirt and grime all round the seat. Bit weird considering the so called deep clean

It might be worth others dropping them an email to let them know of the issues with grim in the other stands.

I couldn’t see the point of closing off the entrance to the green carpark from the family stand after the match. It meant more people were funneled behind the home end in order to get round to the car park.

Any more reports on the game itself? Couldn’t care less about seats to be fair

Agree with comments about the keepers, White, Kieran & Phillips, I think he and Holden link up well. No-one has mentioned Monthe, I thought he was a beast, he and Taylor are going to make a great partnership.

Same.

Can see us going a 5-3-2 start of season
