Read some of the rubbish on here. Work in progress apparently.
Yes, they can do what they like as is their right. In all honesty up till this season Iâd got used to trudging away quickly at the final whistle that I never paid attention to who was or wasnât applauding the fans so it didnât bother me.
However having worked in customer facing financial services for a good chunk of my early career I got used to people not saying thank you for the help I provided. As a manager of a branch I would often think my life would be easier without customers and staff, but the reality was I wouldnât have had a job without either. So you suck it up, put on a smile and keep going, cherishing those customers who really valued what I did and taking pride in what I delivered regardless of the type of customer I was dealing with.
Working hard in any job is a prerequisite, I never turned up to open the branch to put a shift in 9-5 expecting the boss or customers to applaud me outside at 17:30 as I was walking back to my car. I knew it was what was expected to earn my monthly salary. If I performed by whatever metric was set (by company or customer) then yes, Iâd expect some recognition/reward and if I didnât get it then Iâd look for another job that did value me (fortunately that wasnât the caseđ).
Fans are paying customers, those ticket, food, drink, merchandise sales pay player salaries. Biting the hand that feeds doesnât bode well for their income prospects or the clubâs longevity would be my view. ![]()
When you find something to enjoy, let me know. Bar two mostly pointless hattricks, itâs few and far between when it comes to the football.
I thought it was ok entertainment today. Few surging runs. Hit the post twice. It was ok.
The bar is now under the earth itâs so low.
Soon it will be that we connected with a couple of passes to cheer about.
Imagine dreaming of the dizzying heights of a goal - or even a win. I better keep my optimism in check, going crazy.
@Jonny you need to change your mindset
âIt was okay for entertainment todayâ for some people on here thatâs okay.
Looks like playing the likes of Dorking and Kiddy Harriers will be okay as long as theyâre entertained !
With a little bit of shrewdness, top half finish is possible. You donât need that much to do it. Solid defence, 2-3 players, but sometimes even one, who makes some wind in the offence and better set pieces ofc. Should be enough for middle table places, but with few results raids even playoff places can be in danger. This league is strange. Itâs easier to go up, than down.
Purely from only seeing the isolated highlights, as I wasnât there, it doesnât look as though Daniels covered himself in glory with their goal. After he had failed to make the tackle, he did get back into a reasonable defensive area, however he showed little urgency and endeavour to close down the scorer and indeed half turned his back on a low, relatively tame shot which went through his legs and may have been part of the reason Evans failed to make a save. I understand that Daniels is usually resolute, but that wasnât a good look.
âThe place wasnât sucked into a black hole, making it impossible for any of us to ever see our families again. Cheer up!â
Not much to say is there, we are just shit
I must admit Sadler made a rod for his own back today by picking DJT over DJ not sure what has happend between DJ and Sadler but it needs sorting asap because i believe it cost us 3 points today.
I still believe Sadler can turn our fortunes around but hes going to need to learn from his mistakes or it will be his downfall.
Our injury curse isnât helping the cause.

Hopefully get a few players back over next few weeks and plan our assault on 14th place ![]()
Its easy to be disappointed we lost at home to a shit team what a tit.
Heâs been poor for ages. Bang average league 2 centre back at best. He needs someone next to him whoâs solid like monthe was last season.
Imagine Deeney with our threadbare defence
Just listened to Sadlerâs interview - heâs deluded. His comments about the fans should be taking the result in perspective and not booing at fill time - equally hilarious. Yes, we should all be happy weâve lost at home to Harrogate.
I donât contest that we had a lot of the ball⊠but we were abysmal in the final third. Truly woeful.
Our shot accuracy was 12%. 12%!!!
Worrying comments that DJT will continue to get chances too - why? Heâs appalling.
FGR is now a must win. Sadler is lucky that we have second bottom of the football league at home now. If we donât win that⊠we might as well go home.
Hapless - word of the week
Utterly bizarre comments, not for the first time. The booing wasnât about one performance it was about being 17th in the table after almost half a season. A complete lack of touch.
And also âwhy do you think?â I donât give a f*** what the journo asking him the question thinks. The whole point of this is Sadler to explain his point of view, for the fans. People whinged about Clarke and Flynn treating interviewers with disdain, well Jesus Christ.
The WM interview is why I think weâre wasting our time. Heâs a young manager who simply isnât learning and even more to the point, we all knew this appointment wouldnât be afforded the patience that others have. He opened himself up as soon as he chose DJT over DJ in what world is that a reasonable call? A game that we were afforded possession, amassed a total of 3 shots on target and ultimately lost is not a dominating performance.
