L 2-0 vs Crewe Alexandra (A) - League Two - Sat 15th April, 3pm

Give Sadler the job till the end of the season.

Let’s see what he’s about.

Desperately dissapointing day. Atmosphere was fizzing in the away end before the match, sat at the end nearest the Crewe ultra’s and they were genuinely agog at the size and noise of our contingent. All that dissipating inside of two minutes as Crewe came out like men possessed and we just couldn’t handle then, and I did warn beware the wounded animal but that advice went unheeded. Think other than Scunthorpe last season today may be our lowest ebb in the past few years at this level. People come out at the end apoplectic with rage, huge disconnect between players and support. Where do we go from here?

So you’re repeating someone else’s “what I overheard at the match” as if it’s now a fact.
You don’t half talk a load of crap.

Would be surprised if we beat last seasons total now. Quite a remarkable feat considering where we were in January

Must be true then. Goalkeeping coaches are famous for telling random fans what’s going on behind the scenes. No doubt this will be another rumour that Gensanx will be repeating as fact

Wrexham are welcome to Monthe.

Bang average L2 lump who isn’t shit by any means but is way overrated.

Absolutely. I was also saying this a while back.

I think fans see the shepherds out of play and love that… but miss the fact he’s constantly out of position, always loses the ball, and gets out jumped a lot. Daniels is ten times the player.

Another one of the failures and we need to get rid.

I think Maher has every right to feel mildly insulted at being brought on as a substitute after 88 minutes in a side with only 10 men on the pitch. What is he supposed to do in that time???

Do they still have that drum? I could have stuck it where the sun doesn’t shine after 90 minutes of that banging next to me.

Dreadful performance today. Can’t really be arsed to break it down.
Good away day though, meeting up with @Tinned and his mate Mark, plus a few guys from Tommo’s minibus in The Borough Arms.
Our supporters are brilliant on the whole. The first half anger turned to comedy in the second, as usual, taking the piss out of ourselves
“We’ve got the ball / We’ve lost the ball” :joy:

Looking forward to Tuesday night.

To be honest can’t fault em if they do

Mansfield probably had the best home support I’ve seen this season and they had a drum. Can be annoying yes but used right they help the atmosphere. Something the bescot massively lacks even when we are doing well

I’ll see you there!

Monthe physically is a monster, but as someone already said, needs someone with footballing brain to play alongside (ala Daniels).

Monthe played in the same Forest Green Rovers team that was promoted from the conference as Curtis Tilt and Ethan Pinnock. Tilt now plays Championship football and Pinnock is a Premier League regular. I think Monthe has had one season in L1 due to Tranmere’s promotion and the rest have been spent at L2 level. For me, he is a L2 defender and nothing more. If he goes, there are defenders to be picked up of similar, if not better ability in the summer.

Totally agree.

An atmosphere or a drum??? Please no drums behind the goal :man_facepalming:t2:.Joking apart that’s all fair enough mate and it’s all about personal choice at the end of the day, they just annoy me when continually used that’s all.

First time I’ve ever left a game before 4.30 to head back to the pub.

Complete non event, and I personally feel that the club should come out with an apology.

It’s very concerning that we have recently lost to a side that are rock bottom of the league and a side that were below us yesterday. The most concerning thing is that we look way off both of them in certain areas after almost a full season of Flynn being here.If he’s going to be here as it looks like he will be he will need to get almost all of his new signings spot on(because there are so many at present that are playing very poorly) and he’ll need a complete new way of playing the game.I’m not sure he can pull both of these things off going on the evidence I’ve seen so far and that’s the most concerning thing for me.We are heading towards another wasted season and on current form flirting yet again with relegation next season under this manager if he doesn’t get almost everything he has to sort out right.

He ain’t capable mate, he only knows one way to play and when that falls apart so does his team get rid now.

It’s on current form and evidence looking like a massive gamble giving him another shot at recruitment this summer mate.I’m not sure anyone at this stage can deny that.
