Never let a few good results cloud my judgement. Big chunk of this squad have been crap since August. Fortunately Flynn is finding out about them. You find more out about a team and individuals when you lose than when you win.
Looking forward to the mass clear out in the Summer. Some of these lot are acting like Premier League players who will get another league club. Unfortunately they are league two and starring down the barrel on trying to find a non-league club at best or no club at all and joining civvy street. God help them.
Rose
Mills
Osadebe

Miller will be off
Devine will be off
Shade will be off
That’s Just for starters. I can’t see Labadie going given his history with Flynn.
It’s going to be interesting to see how well they back him. Surely… he wouldn’t have took the job unless there was assurances about budget and investment for the summer.
The good news is he is seeing the dross now. It’s like an extended pre season, and I’m glad of it.
I’m just hoping Flynn is as good as his words. Having just about renewed, I’m thinking that he’s Bonletts last chance and he better invest properly in him. Glad to have wagged it today
What is Devante Rodney about? What is the spark as a striker that he is going to bring?
He doesn’t look lightning quick.
He isn’t look likely to win headers.
He doesn’t appear to play on the shoulder of the last man.
He doesn’t appear to make runs.
He doesn’t appear to look like holding the ball up.
I feel a little confused that we would pursue him, especially as he was injured, in what would seem to be our marquee signing of the Jan transfer window.
I think Flynn is in the box seat here. He knows that if he doesn’t get what he wants, or what he was promised with regard to the playing budget then he’ll find employment elsewhere.
Flynn’s got a very good reputation as a manager & there will be plenty of suitors if word got out that he was unhappy at WFC. All it would take is an early resignation.
The club & the board must give him the tools that he needs to do the job.
All the pressure will be on JF I reckon.
He infuriated me today his passes were either drilled at someone and they couldn’t control it or he passed it to them and he’s so slow he’s like a tugboat dragging a cruise liner at times.
From start of this season I thought this to be the worst Walsall team I had ever seen, going back to 1968.
Players who don’t deserve to be earning a living playing professional football.
Then MF arrives , results improve and briefly, I think maybe they are not as bad as I thought. Sadly today proved me right in the first place.
Games like today and away at Stevenage proves most of these players have neither the talent or mentality to be professional footballers. Another rebuild in summer I hope.
Plenty of problems today but what really stood out to me is our midfield 3. Not one of them had any positive effect on the game. Not one of them offered themselves for the pass. Not one of them played the pass, moved and asked for it back. None of them tried to play triangles to move us forward.
It’s all very well pointing at Monthe for his passing, saying that menayese was giving the ball away but they were on the ball more than anyone. That shouldn’t be the case. A midfielder should pick it up off them and make things happen, as the orient midfielders did.
I don’t think it was his fault Sid. As @Scooby2167 and I have alluded to, Orient cut off his passing lanes to Shade, Earing and kinsella. They also cut out the long ball to Wilkinson.
During the game I couldn’t see what options he had. Felt sorry for the bloke. I felt more annoyed at some of the fans around me who seemed to think he should be channeling the spirit of Diego Maradona as the solution.
