L 2-0 vs Leyton Orient (H) - League Two - Sat 2nd April, 3pm

I honestly think it is because he is one of the few players that looks like he cares mate
in a team that largely looks like it doesn’t

Yes I get that but that is all he’s got and do appreciate all that he tries to achieve, I’m more concerned with finding players that can improve the team. Who’s to say that Perry for example can’t do the same job but better.

What goes around comes around

Strange behaviour. Shows the kind of mentality that we’ve had within the squad this season.

What I’d give for proper senior pros that lead by example like we had in the 15/16 season with O’Connor, Chambers, Taylor & Demetriou.

Honestly don’t think we’ve ever had a group of players that have such a weak mentality.

Well hopefully Flynn will sort that out

I was sitting there thinking why is it always at Walsall where players are unrecognisable to when they played elsewhere in their careers. It always seems to be us that make players worse it isn’t just me is it?

We do say it but past experiences are delaying me renewing my season ticket.

Wow you seen the backlash on those threads to the both of them

Yes they did , but that’s only possible if you are passive and allow it to happen.

That ball is being hoofed into the channel so is a fair representation of Taylor’s ability and coaching credentials

Agree with most of that , but would definitely keep Rose , good solid lower league keeper never let us down , should probably be playing now.

What made me laugh today, in the second half Rodney went down injured and about 20 kids in the family stand started chanting “Get him off, get him off”

Here at the Ash Taylor academy we pride ourselves on transforming promising young footballers into plasterers of the future.

  • Do you have an excellent first touch? Ash Taylor’s patented 5 point plan will eradicate that.
  • Defensive colossus? Ash can show you precisely where to let attackers past and clean on goal with just one shrug of the shoulders.
  • Cover more ground than any other player? Ash has perfected the best place to stand with hands on hips to reduce your cardiac output to manageable levels.

But don’t just take our word for it. These happy Ash Taylor Academy graduates speak for themselves:

“I had offers from Chelsea and Arsenal on the table but wanted to perfect my skills before joining. Ash transformed me and showed there are better options out there. Screwfix isn’t that bad”

“Ash showed me how to play the modern game and i have him to thank for where I am today (Newport Pagnall services)”

We were poor today, but I think the damage was done in the first 20 minutes when they pressed the life out of us and scored 2 goals. After that, they were happy to kill the game, aided by a ref who was happy to let them get away with it.

Thinking about it though, I don’t think I have seen anything outstanding since Flynn has taken over, with the first half against Hartlepool the possibile exception (disclaimer: I have only seen home games). I think it is testament to his management that he is getting results in spite of the squad, rather than because of it. The first XI is pretty light on quality, and we have so little to change things from bench it’s untrue. I think a spine of Monthe, Earing, Kinsella and Wilkinson is a solid starting point at best for next season, but that’s a hell of a lot of other areas to be filled.

Newport Pagnell Town today reached the FA Vase Final at Wembley in front of a 1,700 sell out crowd. It’s quite near me but instead I chose to go to the Banks’s…
