Clubs sleep walking to relegation. If not this year then next.
Just a matter of time. Everyone can see it except those in charge who spend all their time patting each other on the back at the great job they think they’re doing.

What is the rumour?
I’m crying and it’s your fault

End of…
That he is off to Ipswich
It comes to something when you’re only option striking option off the bench is 20 year old who has never started a league game. I have criticisms of Taylor but the recruitment this season has been dreadful. I also wonder what state Perry, Bates etc are in if they’re unable to play reserve games and cant get time on the pitch.
This is it though isn’t it. We have had endless seasons of ifs, buts and maybes. Always the bridesmaid never the bride. We will pull out a result in the next two games to placate a few and then start the cycle again. The football club is a pointless entity, it appears it’s sole purpose is to exist by any means necessary. Devoid of any ambition, innovation or excitement. Like someone else said, there is more to life than this.
I was with you until that last 15 mins thingy
To play for them or has he got a new railcard? Seems unlikely!
We were beaten by the better side today.
It’s not like we didn’t have our chances, we did. Had Miller passed the ball instead of trying to beat their entire defence we might have scored.
Rushworth made a couple of brilliant saves to keep the score at 1-0, we just couldn’t get anything going.
Leak did ok, Rollin was rocky at times and hasn’t played to the standard he set before he signed with us permanently.
I would give White MoM, nobody really stood out for us today.
A scrap in the away end, that contained an unbelievable following again, sums it up nicely for me. More fight and passion on the terraces than anywhere else in the club - probably borne out of pure frustration and anger, and justifiably so.
I’ve had enough, wasting our time even taking 5 minutes to discuss this club any longer. We all know the issues and nothing is going to change. I feel a total disconnect from this organisation - what the hell are we ‘supporting’ here?
Devoid of excitement, but not excrement.
Just seen we’re at home next Saturday.
Hopefully any excuse to not go will happen.
The only ray of hope we have that this is just hearsay is that could anyone imagine a 3rd Division outfit looking at Walsall in order to find a defender? I have my doubts.
I contributed to the “Pomlett and what has he done for the club” thread this morning. I didn’t want it to be seen as another reaction to another loss.
He’s struggling no doubt. No ideas, stale board, pre-historic financial framework. All filters through to the pitch. The football and the results of the football team are the output of everything that goes on in the whole club. It’s poor.
Some of the recent departed lifting the lid which doesn’t look good. Not just this week. You read Josh Gordon basically saying he fell out of love with football whilst he was with us.
The place has a problem. The turnover of managers, especially compared with the turnover at board level suggests that the problem is ostensibly “upstairs” rather than the dug out. Unfortunately accountability seems to stop at the dug out.
As I forecast when I saw the team we lost again. No surprise.A big 2 weeks coming up to strengthen the side. A full back, Centre half and another forward needed urgently.
If I was Matt Taylor, I’d resign and walk away.
We are run by a bunch of amateur charlatans.
Where was this?
The name of our town. I believe the supporters have shown a better degree of enthusiasm than any of the players on the field, the body language is all wrong, something ain’t right currently.
This board should do the right thing, get rid of all the deadwood and bring in some new enthusiastic youngsters to turn the club away from the abyss, but we all know this won’t happen.
It must be a very cliquey building the banks’s and one where the powers that be can’t see another other than a view over the peasants from an ivory tower. It feels as if they see themselves as better people than the ones spending money better people than the people who have to work for a living and until it’s changed the future will be the same as it is now and has been for many years.
