Our inability to sign any real quality has caught up with us tonight, they have Madden etc we have Knowles filling in up top… it’s a miss match

Doncaster Rovers 4 Rochdale 3 (81 min) … we’re back down to 12th.
Good job we won in Wiltshire
Had enough of watching this. Time to call it a day
lol
Just what I said earlier in the thread. Will things change? Still have my doubts.
It’s the hope that kills ya. Have kept a copy of the League table from last week, I can show the grandkids “Look, proof positive that we were once 8th in the 4th Division!”

Wotton vs douglas james for example.
This has been very poor.
Kinsella, Daniels and Evans really have been the only players who will come out with any credit at all.
We’ve been poor from start to finish. A marginal improvement in the second half but only in effort and tempo levels which let’s be honest only reached where they should’ve been from the start.
Really really disappointing.

Just been beaten by better team it happens but I’ll say they were much better

Came up against a better team. They have dominated midfield and possesion generally. Seem more experienced than us too.
Also the white kit…
Hopefully this will show where we still need a couple of quality additions in January. Add 2 more to that if we lose DJ and Bennett.
Sutton 1 Gillingham 1 (78 min)
DJT miles off being a starter in league football…very mediocre hold up play.
This is why January is important. Not getting in top 7 with him as regular starter.
Well it definitely wasn’t you, because he wasn’t in full PPE and/or pushing a settee.

Evans gets MOTM.
Says it all.
Colchester Utd 1 AFC Wimbledon 2 (89 min) … puts us in the bottom half of the table!!
Jan will be defining part of season we will loose Bennett and most probs DJ , we need to replace them with quality and where are we going to find that ?

A result and performance like this was bound to happen sooner or later. Not the end of the world. Let’s move on to Mansfield next up.

January is always massive for the Saddlers! As I’ve been saying on the other thread. The problem is we’re never very good at them on and off the pitch.
