If Kinsella showed his weakness what did Earing and Hutchinson show?

I think the thing that hurts the most about this one is the fact we have actually been in excellent form as have tonight’s opponents but you’d have just expected so much more on your own turf.We should have been more energetic,won more in the air and on the ground, pressed them more and made then go backwards but what we saw was a complete reversal.It was they who came here and got straight at us from the first whistle and we just really struggled to answer that kind of approach.

Nothing. They showed nothing.
In Earing’s case this was his second game where his impact was negative (he dived in on the halfway line for their first) and Hutchinson looked slow and cumbersome.
The point I was making above was that their midfielders all seemed to have Kinsella’s and Knowles strengths. Our two midfielders who at least showed they had strengths (as well as their obvious weaknesses).

Nothing Flynn could have done about that tonight
Even at our best I don’t think we would have got anything, they were too strong albeit ironically they went down a bit too easily.
I think they will get that third spot and hopefully they take points off our play off rivals
Treat that as a cup game and move on I still think we can get into the top 7.
Was that a pitch invasion or just someone lost? A bit weird

We were beaten by the better team it happens we had a bad day at the office im not going to get too down about it. Or pick players out for having a bad game they deserve this result to be swept under the carpet given this incredible run we were on.
I more interested on how we respond against Mansfield. Must say though i fully expect Stockport to make top 3 this season very impressed best team ive seen this season.

Earing, a lack of fitness. A lack of athleticism.
Hutchinson, his age? His lack of experience of a side relying on him in a key role.
Personally, said what I said at half time and Hutchinson improved when Earing went off. Just not by enough to make any difference.

I just hope they get automatically promoted, cus i would hate to meet them in the playoffs

I agree that Hutchinson was much better in the second half and when Knowles switched to the right for a few minutes we looked slightly better but still not good enough to cause our opponents too much trouble.

As good as Stockport were tonight they are still only a single point ahead of us.
They were calling for their managers head not long ago.
January is a massive month for us if we have serious intentions of making the playoffs.
Will Flynn be backed to bring in the players to achieve this aim? Time will tell.

I don’t think the club can afford to bring in the players required tbh. Replace or sign DJ, replace Bennett and sign 2/3/4 players of decent quality.
It will take a few quid.
I agree, Stockport are the best team I have seen this season even though we well off the pace. They should of beat us by more
