Can’t believe the atmosphere at the Bescot last night , even though we were out played in every department …the club getting rid of the leech finally , a top clash between the two inform teams in the league , and a good away following …
Why so silent , we needed to be the 12 th man last night and back this team that obviously thrive on our vocal support , hope we put this to right on new years day and turn up in numbers and let the club know vocally it has our support .

I agree…I think the first 10 minutes did us…it was clear that they were really up for the game and we were struggling. The key moment was the first miss by Knowles. A calm finish there and the whole game could have changed and the crowd would have woken up. I have to admit though I was silent as I had a sore throat!!

Agreed. SCFC not only kicked our arses on the pitch, but they sung us off the terraces too, taking the mick as they did so.
This is not the first time we’ve been outsung by the away support at Bescot either. Sitting near the halfway line as I do I can’t help but notice when it happens… and we usually lose when it does. The arguement could be made that poor performances aren’t worth cheering, but I think of this more as a partnership, and part of our role is to drive to team forward especially when they’re having a bad day. Last night I don’t think we did that anywhere near enough.

Tbf i find most teams home fans are pretty quiet. Where as away fans are normally alot more up for it and louder.

I’d add it’s easy under the low roof too with unreserved seating etc, as you said away fans outsinging home isn’t a shock

Absolutely terrible. If hed of had a knife or wanted to fight, any steward was 30 seconds away.
In general, our stewards are useless and lord help us if we ever have an serious issue.

Agreed the stewards at Walsall are shocking, even though there’s no shortage of them either.
The club put a fence up between the home ends, to achieve what exactly, yet the stewards can’t even stop a chap casually strolling on to the pitch, even though they were already aware of him.

They got out of non league by spending, they have done the same this season, and they will no doubt get promoted, they were so much better than us in all aspects.
Even with Trivela at the helm will things actually change from our usual doubtfully abysmal January dealings?
We have to respect the fact that by being the plucky also rans will not get us any rewards, another transfer window of 3rd,4th,5th choices? Championship reserves or Osie Yaw’s looking for experience of the bigger boys matches? Awaiting a choice of freebies available at the last minute?
Will Trivela show intent? We all hope so, we also need a result against Mansfield, another flop and we can kiss the season goodbye (we certainly ain’t gonna get any further in the cup unless Stockport play their reserves!)
He was as awful as anyone else.
He headed two clearances straight in field directly to their player which ended with efforts on goal. He shanked things with his left foot directly into the crowd. He was caught wrong side of his man numerous times. He dribbled into people or into nowhere too many times and failed to make simple passes inside to midfield players who could’ve started attacks choosing instead to dribble down blind alleys.
He wasn’t much worse than most others but you asked so there you go.
Is he a regular this fella who went on anyone know?
Some of the signings this season have been the worst i can ever remember. Been going for 45 years and ive seen some dire ones. Trivela need to provide the financial means to allow us to challenge in the top 8 or 9.
No where near as bad as some of the signings we had in the Keates/Clarke seasons
