Is there a pitch we can use there? Couldn’t be any worse than Holker Street!

Bottom end of pop up campsite looks suitable. We are only tent.
Pub at end of field

But you have taken it out of context because your strongest team will vary based on all the variables (and some) that I’ve mentioned!!!

It won’t be the same best 11 all season no matter whos tired!!

In pub a mile and a half from the ground. obviously been a decent amount of rain here but only spotting now although clouds are quite dark

As I said, it couldn’t be any worse than Holker Street. Looks like Wembley in comparison. :joy:

Then I don’t get what you’re disagreeing with then? Because the reason people are suggesting changes is because first team players clearly have empty tanks. Doesn’t matter how good you are if you’re knackered

I think what he’s trying to convey is that you’d choose the best XI on the day, like taking into account whos on a shit run of form and whos knackered

And you have a better view

So exactly like this:

I dunno why, but I ain’t like midweek games. No injuries, rule of five subs allowed is still active and just good result.

What I’m saying is, I don’t believe Kinsella, Hutchinson, Comley are tired and I wouldn’t rest them tonight.

Hutchinson didn’t play well Saturday we are all agreed, but my feeling is that was more to do with spending most of the game watching the ball go over his head and never being forward in time before it went back or back on time before it was lumped forward. He’s still been the top performer in midfield over the 4 games and with neither Knowles RAM or Earing making a big case for a start I wouldn’t change it.

It’s quite possible White is carrying a knock and Bennet is an obvious change or it’s possible tactically it’ll be a more open game and suit Knowles wide ahead of Allen but I dont believe it’ll be due to tiredness.

On the other hand, it may suit Abraham’s up top if Barrow like to push players forward and leave gaps and that would also suit the fact that at 36 Williams may well need a freshen up and a night off.

Then I don’t believe you watched the game last week. The ball wasn’t flying over Hutchinson’s head, he didn’t involve himself. He didn’t press. He didn’t effect the play at either end. Yes we let Stevenage dictate the style of play the last 20 minutes (when he wasn’t even on the pitch) but that wasn’t the case all game.

He dropped deep and picked up the ball first half … then did absolutely nothing with it.

On one hand you’re saying none of our players are tired and you don’t think there should be any changes:

And on the other saying if we do make changes it won’t be to do with resting players :man_shrugging:

Bennett for Allen

Timmy for Williams

I said I wouldn’t rest the midfield three as I dont think they need it and I think they’re too important.

Looks like Mr Flynn agrees

Clarke F misses out again. As a loanee, I just don’t know how he fits in - and it will only get worse for him when the injured players come back.

Hes not ready though is he, i think subs and cups for him at best.

I expected Bennett for Allen but surprised at Abraham for Williams. It sounds as if it might be a heavy pitch where pace is less effective.

If he was a permanent I could see the logic (one for the future) but he’s only on loan. Surely Norwich would be expecting him to get more game time?
