L 2-1 vs Doncaster Rovers (A) - League Two - Tue 9th April, 7:45pm

Definitely up for it but train prices are bloody obscene. £86 return from Lancashire is a joke.

I have a vague memory of something like that - think I was as baffled as you!

The 4-0 defeat was horrible - ranks alongside the tatering we got at Crewe in the playoffs under hibbitts stewardship

I have pre-booked parking at the Premier Inn about 8/9 minutes walk. Cost c £3.50 through yourparkingspace.co.uk

I remember it.

I’m not 100% certain of this but I used to stand by the lads who sang it at the back of the Gilbert Alsop.

Think it was something to do with the chap with spikey hair (not seen him for years) who I think was meant to look like the Tazmanian Devil (in their opinion, not mine!)

We’ll do well to get 500 there. We’d only sold 282 by this morning

Good find. That’s the tune. Probably the oddest “song” I’ve heard at a football match. Was funny though the guy leading it as he went back and forth across the terrace.

It was definitely something to do with a bloke with spikey hair, I think they called him spike (no shit) nice bloke, used to go to every game, not seen him for years unless his appearance has changed a lot, which is possible.

I’ve always wondered why Dickie Dosh didn’t have more success, more than a decent manager for Walsall.
Remember the scrap with had with Hartlepool for the title?
Good days.

Thanks for your advice. I’ve now pre-booked parking in Car Park 3 through yourparkingspace.co.uk. Cost is £4.50 and it is about 5 mins walk away.

I think there will be a significant walk up, I’ve not booked my ticket yet and I know of a few others in the same boat.

I hope you’re right though

Bring it on! Anything other than a big defeat, is ok. Draw very nice. Win brilliant.

It’s the 8th of April & to still to be having this convo is the main thing.

Feed :mouse2: the :owl:

This was an unreal game. One that sticks in my memory of being up there with my fondest away games.

The game had everything. Behind twice and then Neil Sullivan stupidly tripping Ishy up in the box after he caught the ball!

Just when we thought the comeback was complete, they missed a last minute penalty and had a player sent off. Mooney on his day was a superb striker.

I trust that you will be observing a policy of social distancing? As you are quick to remind us, the safety of spectators is of paramount importance.
