L 3-1 vs Forest Green Rovers (H) - League Two - Sat 14th Aug, 3pm

With the upmost respect, that is absolute nonsense.

This level is all about consistency. Consistency might only be 6 out of 10 but fundamentally its about winning your duels and outwitting your opponent. 1 decent performance in 4 is simply not good enough. He needs to operate at a higher level on a more consistent basis.

and why is only one half the turnstile open? two sides, solves half the problem.

Are we tescos checkout? How much does an automatic scanner cost?

I expected better, like you say, half arsed, and still old school.

I give up.

Yes your right Bags.Let’s be brutally honest though.
The defence is well off the pace. We have no creativity in midfield and nothing up front.
Other than that I think we’re fine.

15 years of the same complaints. 15 years!! Reason: It’s been the same people running the operations for that entire time. A big test today and yet again they have completely imploded then sat out of the way in the safety of the directors box while it all kicked off.

It really is as simple as this; until Daniel Mole and Stefan Gamble are removed from their roles or employ a professional with a proven track record in events operations and management (and leadership), these issues will continue to worsen, especially as they try and bring in systems they have no clue how to operate. Its as simple as that.

I can’t think of many that have failed so consistently and for so long, overseeing such pathetic decline, that still have their roles.

Perfectly summed up. It’s shambolic.

I don’t think he is ‘awful’ as such, just that given the freedom he seems to have within the team, doesn’t effect the game at all. He is either playing outside of a disciplined system or needs greater output.

My conclusion after today’s game is that he’s awful at playing in a Midfield 2 - that’s for sure.

Also, what has Sam Perry done to get 0 mins so far?

Spot on mate. Re. Perry, who knows - madness.

Barely played in pre season either, I thought we would be using him as much as we can whilst we have him because he won’t be here long.

Just imagine if we’d scraped a win at Tranmere, had won the pelanty shoot-out on Tuesday, the sun had shone all day and we’d signed an exciting new striker to play up front - how the hell would we have got 6,000 people into the ground? What an absolute shambles. A head needs to roll, so piss off Mole.

Alfie Bates is another conundrum.

Who would people play for the next game then?
I’d go controversial as I believe the players should be punished for that performance

Rusworth
Kinsella mayo leak ward
Perry labadie
Wilkinson earring kiernan
Phillips ( no choice as no other striker )

Willis on bench with some other youth. Osadebe to stay at home

He’s been injured so that is a good enough reason, Perry though has been in every matchday squad and I think only got 60 minutes? at Kidderminster. Baffling.

Bang on again @Sephiroth92 exactly what I’d play.

Taylor and Monthe look like they should be playing in an over 50’s league.
Mills was released by Vale. Nothing more to say on that one. Ward should just retire.
Really feel for Rushwoth with this lot infront of him.

As much as I think he is crap there was 1 solitary decent corner which we nearly scored from against Doncaster, but that’s your lot.

The FGR crossing and their corners today were perfection. Exactly what ours should be.

The second goal was ace IMO. Nice bit of play, pinpoint cross low across the box and a tidy finish by a target man who knows where the goal is.

Not a twenty year old lad some here professed would get 15 a season cos he looked great against Kidderminster .

There really is no sugar coating today, I’ve seen an awful lot of football in my time and I’d be very surprised if we turn that lot into a good side.

The cheque book has to come out, how about we spend some of that Rico money Leigh… or has that disappeared.

If MT doesn’t rate or trust Perry, then there’s going to have to be another midfielder to play alongside Labadie too.

We need a wide forward / no. 10 and, after thinking about it, TWO centre forwards. We are unbelievably light up top for me. I was actually shocked.

If we don’t get anyone in, we won’t finish above mid table.

I think Perry will work his way in.

We have the personnel for 3 in midfield all day long . 442 is just shit.

Nobody plays that anymore, i hope he sees this.
