Too little too late probably but this was always going to be a huge ask. The players they’ve bought on is quite frankly ridiculous for league two.
That’s the game then. No need for people suddenly going mad off one result after the last few games, regardless of their form, they’re top of the league. Winnable games coming up to more than make up for this loss.

Good players are Consistent
God ye I agree, it’s our continual slow starts to the season!
It’s driving me insane
That’s the thing when people say things like “We are only 5 points or 3 points off the play offs” It’s bloody hard to catch those points up because other teams at the top win often. You have to be super consistent, which we have been over the past month but playing catch up is hard, when you remember you are playing catch up for a reason.
We will fall short this season no doubt, but hopefully we can look like a team ready to push on as we have done recently, rather than fade away like we usually do.

Played some nice football today we aren’t a million miles off but we’re not quite good enough to be contenders
Oh come on. Surely you know that he was brilliant last time out, at Grimsby, as were the team, but now he’s utterly useless and the whole team is demonstrating how poor they really are. Sadler out!

Today shows the gap in quality with us and probably the top 4 or 5 teams in the division the rest are all a muchness and we can beat them

Yep, we needed about 1.85 points per game to realistically make the play offs. Basically no room for error, although a loss to Stockport was not unexpected we just have nothing spare in reserve
