L 3-2 vs Bradford City (H) - League Two - Sat 20th April, 3pm

The ROK appointment may prove to be an astute signing, in more ways than one.

We can finish itd just that the one who can keeps getting sepsis from his splinters

‘Two nil and you Cooked it up’ the Bantams spectators were singing weren’t they?

Brutal

25 mins today and he hardly touched the ball. Faal way more effective. Should have stayed on

Gutted, a travesty to lose after being 2 up and coasting.

Dire defending for all goals too.

So close yet so far

That game was crying out for Farq at half time. Cook has too much nous for two defenders collectively maybe 8 years older than him. Dave and JF. Errors of individual judgement, shocking finishing and a bit of luck cost us that game as they have our season. A missed opportunity…but one we must learn from, including MS. The fat lady is clearing her throat…

He’s been around the whole time advising Sadler.
The only difference now is it’s official.

Hoping Sadler is bullish and defiant in the national media afterwards. That wasn’t like us, desperate to put it right and still in with a chance. We’re such a force when we’re all pulling together.

Yeah apart from literally tackling Stirk who had a clear shot on goal then misfiring from 3 yards. DJ created our best chance in the second half by harrying their defender (lol) then should have won a cast iron penalty :man_shrugging:

I hear sadler has to learn an awful lot

Problem is I don’t think Sadler is capable of learning anything.
Poor team selection and in game management.

Today was totally on him.

Gutted. Absolutely gutted.

Let’s not forget the two atrocious refereeing decisions to miss two of the most obvious penalties you could ever see, plus hitting the post twice. We battered their goal at times and never got a break - but we’ve all seen this happen before.

This huge chance of 3 home games on the spin was such a damp squib.

Conceded 7 goals, would have needed to score 4 in two of them to win.

Ultimately just not good enough with the cards dealt to us.

That bodies on the line attitude we saw a couple of months ago just seemed to go and ultimately we’re just too soft and conceding right after scoring again is a weakness.

I think that ref had already used up his penalty quota for the season, but it shouldn’t have mattered. It should have been over by half time.

Would one transfer window have been enough to turn this into a team capable of staying in League One?

Meh its over bring on next season now.

Great game management from them, much less the case for us.
I was happy with the ref in the first 45, was equally pedantic for both sides, but they got away with loads in the second half when shirt-pulling became acceptable and, as you say, not up to speed with their antics in the box on at least two occasions.
Still, if you can’t manage a game from two up!

Why ever not

What’s gone on with Adegboyega? I would have started him over Dave today after a rest.

Why can’t he see the inevitable coming?

Absolutely gutted and shell shocked tbh. I would have accepted to be in the mix with 2 games to go at the start of the season but this feels so disappointing. To lose at home when being 2-0 up is so poor.
