We had that at Wembley, just a couple of jerks who refused to sit down. With no way for us to move forward it spoiled the day, in as much as the two, and the women they were with, became abusive, then extremely aggressive.
Needs to be seating and standing provision for both. Although of an age where people presume I want too sit Iām actually better standing or would seize ā¦ā¦ one match and Iād be there all season a cheaper option I presume
However I always stand on the back row so I donāt impact on others, a bit of consideration by all and the problem virtually resolves itself
It was very annoying . Mom couldnāt see a thing.
Some people are just selfish
Agreed, Iāve got no time for this type of divisive chanting. If it were racist or homophobic it wouldnāt be tolerated so neither should this and I type as someone who is not partisan on either side of that particular divide. We need to weed out these āsupportersā, and make it be known that we wonāt tolerate it in the good name of our football club.
Get this a lot at away matches, excessive drinking has a lot to answer for.
If ya want to stand throughout the match go to the back with the rowdy yoofs, donāt take the front row and stand up in everyoneās way, sometimes as someone above mentioned there is no where else to go, and you can be stuck with this thoughtless behaviour and ignorance throughout the match.
Do these same people book there holiday flight and stand up the whole of the flight.and I bet they moan like hell ā I had to stand up on the train when Iād Booked a seat ā
I was interested to discover that Drogheda lies on the river Boyne and there is a ābattle of the Boyneā visitor centre nearby which I will probably visit if we do play Drogheda in a pre season friendly
It has quite a history.
Well worth a stay if we play them.
I do hope some of our hard of understanding wonāt turn it into something confrontational and that everyone respects the place, the people and our sister club.
Only 300 sold so far for Stockport this week, thought there would be alot more than that
Lots done their wad at Southampton. Post Christmas squeeze. Long month for lots.
Think weāll get to 550 which given the above is still a fine effort.
Would be a shame to get under the 1k mark for this given our form in the league and recent numbers weāve took to Stockport. Like @P.T rightfully said though, Southampton away and the post Christmas squeeze will jeopardize the end number.
weāve only got 876 tickets which is the allocation now down the side, so i thought weād sell all them, not so sure now
Better down the side, at least you donāt run the risk of a soaking.
I think @P.T is right. Bad month for a lot money wise and Saturday was the one a lot chose.
Same position myself, I keep doing the sums to justify being able to go and no matter what calculator I do them on it just wonāt work. Will still probably end up going though.
215 at Grimsby was way down what it would usually have been and Iām sure Stockport will be the same (400-500 max) after our two four figure followings there last season.
With Southampton being prioritised by many and only so much money to spend, I think our away league support is going to suffer in the short term, just when the team are showing concerted improvement.
Itās the magic of the cup, I guess.
Newgrange prehistoric passage tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage is also nearby (about 5 miles) and is definitely worth a visit.
Future coach ?
I see him in management somewhere in the future
Captain fantastic, weāre very lucky to have him.
We arenāt lucky to have him at all. The other way round if anything. No one wanted him when we took him on, we basically rescued his career.
Iām a big fan of him and have said so many times but jesus letās not go down that road, itās just nonsense.
Not quite sure we rescued his career im sure he had other offers on the table. He has been a great leader and put in some excellent performances and very rarely has a bad game. So i would agree we are lucky to have him.
