How many more games until Trivela get concerned/angered by these continuous slow starts? Only took a few games in to notice the trend. October… and it’s still happening.
Manager getting all of the shit, which I don’t blame, but players need to take their fair share for such a gutless performance. Nobody seems to talk to each other out there???

Neither for or against Sadler when appointed but todays performance has exposed him I think.
I don’t expect anything to happen to him but I won’t be paying to watch this standard of “football” going forward. Maybe if enough of us did the same then something might change - not holding my breath though……

Exactly, it’s my lads birthday next Saturday as he enters the teen years. I was going to take him along as we didn’t renew our season tickets this year. I just can’t bring myself to do it to him, I’d rather not take the chance and let him enjoy his day away from the circus that is Walsall FC

Good question actually and yes definitely if there average football players they make few demands on the the club and Manger because there grateful to be in a job and have limited ambitions.as opposed to talented players who know there worth have more ambition and make demands .you don’t ask you boss for a rise if your sh-te at your job do you .

We are probably 25% of the way into the season now. I haven’t seen anything that gives me any genuine cause for optimism.
We need to appoint an experienced manager with ambition before this season yields yet another unacceptable league position finish.

Just on the slow starts. Our pre match “huddle” seems to be taking longer and longer. You do wonder who is saying what in that huddle.
Maybe they’re just arranging their evening out.

This was one of the few games I could attend (lucky me) and first time I’d seen him in the flesh rather than iFollow.
Ok, coming on at 4-0 not an easy task, but looked like he had no idea what runs to make and where to positon himself. DJ did nothing, but you can’t accuse him of lacking that kind of know how.
Couple of times Hutchinson lost the ball because he was expecting DJT to make a run that didn’t come.
Don’t want to sound like I’m picking on the guy, as they were all terrible today, but just an observation from me.
Harry Smith was everything we hoped Matt would be.
So it’s all ok as they were bigger than us, no real problem just cannot keep the ball out of our net .
