L 4-2 vs Wrexham (A) - League Two, Tue 15th August, 7:45pm

Feels like a “pet project” tbh - the typical young kid you want to turn into a superstar on FM. Much like the Oisin in midfield ploy, these weird quirks that at the minute are defining Sadler’s early reign.

Would hope Waddock will be having a quiet word in the ear soon

Feel like it’s an insurance for if Draper does well and gets recalled in January.

I’d rather that money spent on him was put towards an actual midfielder or right wing back.

The recruitment isn’t right. We are understaffed in midfield, and we haven’t recruited a right wing back. I don’t get it.

He’s been locked up after an unsavoury incident at the pie stall

No victims mate.

But there could have been if.walsall . fans had not stopped. A local idiot wanting to fight. Kids some. as young as 12 who e were. Innocently sat on coach

Strange original post has been took down now. The other side of the story’s bern told.

Yep, its taken 4 games this season to be whittling out the same “we are a good team if it wasn’t for these pesky injuries” line Flynn was saying last season.

It’s just a copy and paste each season. Choose a system, partly recruit for it then fill the gaps with makeshift solutions.

Exactly. Great summary.

Rinse and repeat every season.

Difference is Flynn actually had an unprecedented number of injuries.

And failed to “collect the regulation ball” because he wasn’t in control of his area.

Yeah … because his centre half headed it to their striker for no reason! :joy: :joy: Can’t legislate for that.

If he’s shouted, and I don’t see why he wouldn’t, it’s on Hussey all day long.

Said during the match this period reminds me of Smith around 2012. A couple of poor seasons surviving relegation and eventually you could see a decent team emerging but it was still brittle at both ends.

Problem now though is people have been worn down and I don’t think there’s a patience anymore for long winless runs so if Sadler dosen’t win any of the next three he will be under huge pressure from the stands.

Elliott Lee is exactly the sort of player missing in central midfield…Wrexham probably paying him 5k a week but need a midfielder with his profile in there instead of McEntee who needs to go back into defence where his height would be more useful.

And therein lies the the point

The point that Evans didn’t do anything wrong and it was completely on Hussey? Yeah totally agree.

So are you saying players should never do their job incase a team mate makes a mistake?

If Evans has called for it it’s definitely 100% Husseys fault. If he hasn’t called for it it’s piss poor all around.

Amateur defending.

Depends if Evans is vocal

Looked that way from the fact Evans went mental, and Hussey stuck his hand up to apologise after the goal :man_shrugging:

No

It’s just you seemed to be blaming Evans outright and only just brought up that if Evans had shouted it’s not his fault.

What I said was Evans was out of position which is down to him in the first instance because by doing so it leaves his goal exposed, Hussey then comes into the equation because he fails to deal with the ball and Palmer sees an opportunity and it’s 2nil
