Overheard some Alvechurch fans say that Walsall tried to sign Dylan Mitchell from Aston Villa who was at Alvechurch last season but he went to Swindon because they offered him a 2 year deal and we only offered a 1 year deal.

I heard from a poster that we had signed two goalkeepers on loan which is a desperate measure by budget cutting teams. As it was repeated several hundred times it must be true.
It should be noted that unless I’ve missed something to date we’ve only signed one loan keeper but this could be seen as even worse meaning were sitting a kid on the bench on GameDay, but why waste a loan sat on the bench every week as one of the five loans wouldn’t that be a waste of a budget.
This is as confusing as sausage gate back in the day but at least that involved food and not just cutting the bacon in half.,

They are favourites but I can’t see how they’re stronger than Wrexham were last season, and they found it hard at times
What are those lines they installed French drains or something. How can their pitch be so bad at this stage of pre season
Apparently the Colchester cricket club installed similar drainage works and it took over a year for the lines to disappear or become less apparent in the turf/grass, but it looks lovely now, or so they say…to quote:
When the cricket club in Castle Park invested in underground pipe drainage the lattice of drainage runs featuring on the surface looked terrible for at least a year. There is no escaping from the grass taking time to properly recover. Eventually it faded and ultimately all evidence of the works vanished.

Tshimanga would be a brilliant signing for anyone at this level. It’s true he’s not hit the heights of form he showed pre injury, but he’s not really had a proper run of games since, up until his loan with BW at the back end of last season where he started to score goals again in a side that created naff all.
Get him a proper pre season, and build the team around him, he’ll get you at least 20 at this level. Very good pen taker too.
