It doesn’t seem like any of the usual processes were followed. If Gillingham asked for permission to approach, it was done very quietly.
Didn’t Coleman have some pretty robust things to say about the Gillingham playing staff’s attitudes? Maybe it was mutual, he’s probably had enough of it there.

Pretty much it. I cant believe that questions arent being asked about the utilisation of the signings, particularly as Ben and Ben came across as fairly satisfied with the business in the video.
To a degree they would say that but, at the time of the signings coming in I feel sure they expected to see them used more.
