League Two 24/25 - The Other 23

Me too. The failure of others to take advantage of our recent wobble must be a big motivator for our boys.

I’m loving this season. It’s rare to have this excitement and tension, even though it blows your head off at times

It’s been years since I looked forward to the next game as I do now.

The most stressful season ever. We should be enjoying this :flushed:

Just looked at the table after tonight’s result the most startling thing is we’re sitting top of the league and we’re the only team who hasn’t recorded a win in the last 6 games in the whole league.one 3 point win would have seen us sitting pretty comfortable in the top three leaving Vale with so much more to do .

I’m convinced 79 will do it and the fishy agrees with me especially with the goal difference.

That means we could get away with 3 points from the 3 games in the week of death. Either 3 draws or a win and 2 defeats.

Then beat Harrogate and Accrington at home who both are in the bottom 5 with nothing to play for and job done.

If this doesn’t motivate us to turn a corner, nothing will.
We need to stop effin’ about and get the job done…starting with Saturday.

I just think these guys will turn it up again if there is a “big game” feel about it. We have seen it many times down the bezzla. Cup finals almost, although i hate that terminology.

Theres a few coming up :joy:

Or if we didn’t concede twice at Cheltenham in 4 minutes, we get a deserved second at Carlisle or if Matt had scored either of his two big chances on Saturday :face_exhaling:

That went well.

i think MS will be happy with scrappy draws to keep us in the top 3.

if we drop out of the top 3 he might realise that we will need to change things up?

Well following last nights result for Barrow, our position has improved, if you take last 8 as the form for the next 8 we’ll be comfortably second on 80 with Vale and Wimbledon both heading for 74 points now.
Just need Vale and Donny to perform correctly now and roll over for us whilst not losing when they play Bradford.
Edit: Oh yea, and obviously we need to perform against Wimbledon…

Personally think it will be Walsall ,Doncaster battling for third automatic.Tues night could have quite a bearing on that outcome.

Similar position in 2007.
We were 5 ahead of Swindon but they had a game in hand.
I just can’t believe after this atrocious run we’re still even in the playoffs.
