League Two 24/25 - The Other 23

Sadler unable to see cracks
Sadler unsettling his own players
Sadler not playing his own players
I’d argue it’s worse with Sadler. This is his project

Utter b*****ks imho, but your welcome to your opinion

And you have documentary evidence of this, or is it yet more of your wild (and peversely negative) speculation?

How dare you question ar Strech’s evidence. All his posts are fact and show the true reality of our club. Bonsor was a God and Sadz is a worm. Nothing will ever change these 2 un-movables (at least not for him)!

There is absolutely no evidence at all. Despite this poor run I haven’t seen any signs of the team being unsettled. What I have seen is players trying too hard to reverse the run. A little more calmness in our play would yield dividends I am sure.

You know exactly what you’re gonna get from Stretch | Gensanx. Its just the same pish regurgitated over and over

What does my noodle in is when you get some fairly well thought of fans agreeing with points made in the trolling.

If you praise Bonser on this message board or with Walsall fans in general, you know you’re pretty much guaranteed a rise :man_shrugging:t2: simple trolling and this is the base point. Just looking for reactions all the time

I bet Bonser would have got us over the line.

i actually named my 1st born Bonser - in honour of the great man!

Changing our shape would definitely help us to manage games better imo. I don’t think we’re unsettled we’re just fatigued and in need of a fresh change of system and players. That would reap dividends for us. Need to keep the ball better

Agreed .We are also missing a calm head in midfield which I hoped we would get in January. However if we can win tomorrow then the mood will change. I have forecast a win simply because we need one desperately!

Absolutely :100: mate. A George Evans and Adam Chambers types is what we desperately needed in January. We may pay for that by not getting promoted. Fingers crossed Sadler can change the narrative and get a much needed win on the board or i fear the promotion dream will be hanging by a thread!!!

Like he did in 2016?

3 more years of that bloke and we would be heading to Solihull Moors for our local derbies. 3 more years of Pomlett would have got a similar outcome, too.

I am still of the opinion that our most successful managers had success inspite of Boner, rather than because of any acumen

Like I’ve said, we need to be very careful when knocking the current owners

I agree with your first comment. Pomlett just didn’t have the financial resources for a club of this size. As for Bonser he did enable us to see some of the best football and footballers in our history in the Nicholl, Graydon and Lee times but after the Merson fiasco he clearly began to lose interest except for his pension income. If he had gone a decade earlier his reputation would have been somewhat better although as we discussed many times the way he established his pension provision was not in the best interests of the club.

Was Bonser still in charge the pressure on Sadler would be significantly higher, Trivela have good will in the bank but if we lose out on promotion questions will be asked, and rightly so. Part and parcel of football club ownership.

Aside from a few dissenting voices on here there hasn’t been a groundswell of movement against them anyway, as evidenced by season ticket sales.

Id say far from it - this is the most connected ive felt to the club since i started in 96!

Were just desperate for something - its only a point off top place but it feels like its 10.

We ain’t in that era anymore we’re in triv and Saddler era and ffs they have fooked up in Jan massive , we’re in for a shout for promotion still and hats off to them but a better transfer window and we would be over the line by now

But did in 95, 99, 2001, and 2007.

I’d rather have these owners than that (insert swear word)

Probably a lack of experience on their part hasn’t helped, but there is only so much they can do on the football side of things. This collapse isn’t on them in my opinion.

Be interesting to see what happens if we don’t go up though. I hope I don’t have to find out.

Agree. There’s been no chants of ‘sack the board’ or ‘Trivela Out’, no demands for emergency fan meetings, no concerned statements from supporters’ groups. The focus now is on what the manager and players can do to pull us over the line, with an understandable anxiety about what happens if they cant.

Cant recall ever wishing Salford win a game before today
