Maik Taylor to Birmingham?

Andy Oakes was our interim Oakes the man for Keates - News - Walsall FC

Like others have said not really too fussed and I wish him well, certainly come across has a professional and always took time to chat to fans, thank him for his efforts and move on.
MF can now get on who he wants too surely that’s a bonus.

It’s not a problem when someone leaves, but the problem can be with adequate replacement. I hope this will be done right. And good luck to Taylor, bigger club, so bigger challenge and feel of grandeur. That’s probably what all people in footy dream about.

2 new goalkeepers will be working with a new goalkeeper coach clean slate for everyone.

Wasn’t he back as a coach for a brief period?

He signed to be player/coach with Mick Kearns when he was under the Dean Smith reign.

Apparently Jimmy Walker has left West Ham

Saw that but I think Flynn will bring his own man in

Come um Wacka.

Luv yow.

come back Jimmy !!

Come on Jimmyyyyyy!!

:yum:

Silly question,
but if I hand in my notice at work, I have to give a month’s notice.
Why isn’t Taylor working his notice, that is unless they’ve paid compensation.

I did think the same myself when listening to the interview. Seems like it all happened very quickly, literally a matter of days, so surely there has to be compensation. Who knows the details of his contract and what his release arrangements would be but it did seem that Flynn has been left a bit in the lurch with this sudden departure from what he said.

Could be as simple as he was out of contract and didn’t agree new terms?
