More to the point - why do people still get bothered by ‘one up front’? Literally all of the successful teams in the world use that formation and so do most of the best sides in our league.
I would love for us to start moving towards a more progressive 4-3-2-1 rather than the outdated 4-4-2 we’ve seen way too many times this season.

To be fair, Norman for Clarke is enforced by injury. Lavery was apparently not 100% on Saturday but most would want him in the side. And kinsella is a very weak link in the team, it’s just a shame we haven’t got anyone better than Guthrie
