Martin Butler, first time around

Paul downing for me . People didn’t seem to rate him.
I thought he was perfect with butler beside and chambers Infront as the ball playing defender

All of them when they sign from a lad that can’t get into Shrewsbury first team FFS to too old too inexperienced not enough goals scored or defenders that were crap when they played against us.
But most come good like Tom Bradshaw lol

Tim Rawlings. A wing half from the early sixties who played a key role in our success about that time. He wasn’ t one of the stars of that team but he was steady and reliable.

I’d say 90% of fans rated him incredibly highly. There was just that really stupid 10% who didn’t understand football.

I was about to say Downing! Had a few bad performances sure, but we consistently had one of the best defences in the league when he was here.

Westcarr didn’t get the credit he was due in my opinion.
