Nathan Lowe signs (Aug 2024)

To be honest, I think he’d be very sad to have to leave such a great bunch of players, and the fans.
He’s now part of the group, and going back to Stoke before we’ve won anything, would be a wrench.
Let’s hope they don’t need him and he’s allowed to stay.

That would concur with Ruud Van Nistelroy being at the match yesterday, soon as I saw it I though the only person he could be watching if he was watching anyone was Nathan

Hopefully the Claykickers will take note that whilst Lowey is beginning to show progress, he doesnt make the top 6 scorers at the halfway stage of the season and not even our top scorer. IMHO he needs the rest of the season at Walsall to improve

I have just seen the highlights back from yesterday.

It was a great ball from Weir for the goal, the way Lowe bends his run to stay onside and get across the defender to put it in is top class forward play.

Like every Walsall fan, I really hope he can stay and get to celebrate promotion with us, because he has been such a huge part of it, often the difference in tight games. Either way, it has been a pleasure to watch him.

Why on earth would he want to play for Duff when he has a far better manager at Walsall?
I’ve seen Duff’s post match interviews and comments a few times this season. He doesn’t hold back when it comes to throwing his Huddersfield players under a bus. Steer clear Nathan.

Needs to stick with Wasall and will be playing champions league before he noo’s it

If Stoke intend to recall him, I don’t see it happening before this weekend.
I’m sure Stoke would be open to waiting until we had signed a replacement, as we seem to have a good relationship with them, and that’s the least we deserve.

Especially after killing Kory Roberts’ career - they owe us and probably more so him!

You are probably right but I don’t take anything for granted in football and especially if Mark Robins is making decisions.

If Stoke are forward thinking they will realise that a good relationship with a Club who will loan players and take good care of them will serve them well. The problem is, that almost everything about football is about right now.

Mark Robins.wonder what his opinion of the club is these days,

Don’t think it really matters what Robins thinks, unless he wants him in the 1st team. Otherwise it’ll be up to Jon Walters and/or their loan manager.

When players are taken on loan, the full season agreement is rarely kept to. So what’s the point?
I know loans are part of the game, but it makes the January window a lottery, particularly for clubs in Divs 1 & 2.
Can the loaning-in clubs insist on a no recall policy, or does that not exist?

I think as a football manager he would be interested in an England Youth international who’d torn up League Two whilst being clumped around by hairy arsed seasoned defenders.

Especially as a striker himself

Hope you are right !

A year loan should be a year loan no call backs unless through a bad injury to the equivalent player in the loaning club.

Yes, these often come with either a fee or obligation to buy. For example Jadon Sancho’s loan from Manchester United to Chelsea.

Where the hell did you get that rubbish from?
From the BBC:

I feel a whoooooosh coming on …
