Yeah he played a Daniels style cross field pass! Forgot how good Sadler was sometimes.
He was running through treacle for the Wendy goal.

Two of my faves are a win v Bury when we scored two in the last few minutes, think Clarke got them both but may be wrong.
Stoke in the playoffs was also a memorable night.
Oh and the Forest game, mentioned above by AndyTaylor.

I remember this match as if it was yesterday. For some reason it’s Wednesday’s opening goal that I remember most….What a game though!
I was only able to attend matches over the Christmas period in those days, despite being a season ticket holder.
It’s games like these that makes supporting the Saddlers fantastic; sticking it to the “big” clubs.

I had that Bury game on video (VHS not DVD) when the club used to sell games, we won 4-3 and the Bury players were visibly distraught they’d lost that game
