Who? Barry :joy:

Completely normal. I’ve performed in the past and haven’t been able to tell if my mics on. Without monitors it can be a pain. Non issue.

I’ll say this about the videos as well (and I know someone mentioned it up above) - Pomlett looks like the cat who has got the cream! He can’t stop grinning about it. Pomlett isn’t in this for personal gain so his demeanour says to me that this partnership is a big deal for Walsall FC and, from having looked crestfallen and a bit fed up in one his last videos, he looks revitalised and looking forward to better times, and that can only be good for all of us. As I mentioned elsewhere, I do wonder if the timing of this, coming soon after movements on the freehold acquisition are just coincidental. It feels like not, to me.

No problem with Poundland not bothered who the sponser is as long as we are called Walsall Fc and have the club badge on the shirt.

I agree with all this.
Fingers crossed on the freehold :crossed_fingers:t2:

There is already one on the there😊

3 years coincides with the rent break as well🤔

Spot on.

It was very fourth division but I’m OK with that. Fourth division is what we are. For the time being.

My piss begins to simmer when we go Sunday League and lower in some of our output and service. This by comparison was OK. Scorsese might have done a better job, but we’re not Hollywood are we?We’re Poundland, and I must say rather proud to be!

Just to add at first I was a bit cringe worthy at the deal in hindsight I knew the stick I was going to get especially living off the Wolves DORITOS effort.
But I have warmed to it and see it as a fresh start and new found hope that we will be moving in the right direction (time will tell) and that having a company of that size involved will open doors to further companies
In the end we used to sing”we cost f**k all and we’re taking the piss” now it’s we from Poundland and taking the piss

Could be much worse…

I give the club pelters for the lack of innovation and care towards us as fans, but this is probably the biggest sponsor the club has had in my years. It’s a cracking bit of business with a huge brand.

I dont get the negativity at all. I’ve had the piss taken yeah, but that would happen regardless. I remember at school - sign specialists - who?? At least nobody can say that about Poundland.

Is it an exciting new dawn like some think?! Well, I think I have heard that one too many times in the last few years. Wait and see. New tricks and old dogs (very old dogs) etc…

Totally agree, could be the biggest thing that has happened to us all round

The other good thing about our new sponsors, it gives the club a route to market to dispose of all the tat that’s left in the club shop.
