It’s up for debate but I wouldn’t class a hopeful ball across the box as a clear cut chance. We didn’t open Newport up once to create an opportunity where we’re thinking we SHOULD score there.

I watched bits and pieces of the game - we seemed very nervous - consistent with a team on whom their capitulation has just dawned.
We were almost trying to walk it in, and snatching at opportunities when they came.
Personally feel that like a lot of Sadlers tenure - he’s realised the problems too late in the day, and the attempted fix just results in panic.
2 weeks ago Williams and Chang couldn’t make a match day squad, today they both start.
For 10 weeks Jamma has led the line ineffectively, today, suddenly he doesn’t start.
For weeks we’ve lacked composure, and suddenly the answer is to start Adomah.
At best it’s muddled thinking, at worst it’s falling out with players and over utilising favourites.
Not that any of this matters - Sadler has messed up massively, and as a result probably won’t get another managerial job. A club would be utterly foolish to give him a job after his record these past few months. He knows that. We know that. He knows we know that.
It’s just like that phase at the end of a relationship when both parties know it’s over, but neither have had to balls to finish it.

Shorter journey home makes it slightly less energy zapping but I get your point 
I didn’t realise that today’s match was between the 91st and 92nd teams in the country, based on current form.
Especially since he was taken out of the team
I think that’s a bit harsh. I thought he was brave to throw himself at the ball. Could he have got there without needing to try to bundle it over the line?

More based on the Corner right before when he put his arm round the neck of the defender and threw him On the floor when were desperate for a goal

Not that it matters or anything, but the linesman who guessed the disallowed goal also gave this as an offside call just a minute before
Simkin very lucky to stay on the pitch and i think their red was a little harsh
