That was great. Loved it :joy::joy::joy:

He was celebrating in front of their fans with his arms in the air as though we had scored. He was like a big kid on a Sunday morning. Just brilliant.

Yes he was utter class today. He might as well have a mop on his forehead.

Just un real.

What a load of nonsense! Stirk was excellent today! The only ‘passenger’ today was uncs who wasn’t quite on it first half.

Stirk is key to this team - so much of the good stuff goes through him .

In a team that doesn’t have much possession , he is integral to us having as much as we do

I was impressed with their Number 7, Crowley. Should have had a first half booking for cleaning out Liam, but neat and tidy and all over the place.

What does Lowe say?

And back at work on Monday and again seeing the County fan…

Clearly a quality player . Comments on the County message board though about him show boating pre half time being the start of the change in the game - lowered their intensity and probably gave us added incentive at half time .

I liked Crowley and he has an excellent reputation. However, he loves a circle around an opponent with the ball doesn’t he? He did one to Uncle Albert which reminded me of how I used to do it in 5-a-sides to players 10 years older than me. Inevitably, the next time the ball was near the wall, I would be the victim of a ‘mistimed’ lunge. Now, in my older years, I realise that ‘showboating’ rarely ends well…

Yeah, looked a decent player and one you could see stepping up to league one.

On the evidence of today, I expect to see both teams promoted. I just hope that Salford don’t though…

If we’ve got into the heads of opposition players as much as we obviously have with opposition fans about how good we are second half that’sa huge psychological advantage

“Hard win that” I think

If you don’t score 3 in the first half you won’t beat this Walsall team.

We are actually a very intelligent squad and coaching team how we assess teams first half adapt and finish them off 2nd half.

A ‘Paul Jones’ standard performance from McEntee in midfield and those of a certain age will know how big a compliment that is.

By far the best player on the pitch Weir absolute class with one of the outstanding performances of the season.

The reds are going up.

We have a team that is organised, VERY VERY capable and clearly willing to give their all for us.

In life’s tough moments, they bring us joy. For that I feel very grateful.

Thanks, I couldn’t make it out.

Absolutely spot on. I said to my wife earlier that i wish i could bottle the exhilaration i felt today.

Don’t remember Paul Jones with a header like that one Oisin had at the start of the 2nd half !

But he hit a rocket of a penalty !

I’ve been incapable of any meaningful activity recently, as I spend most of my time staring at the league table.
