Qadir was great to watch. I can remember Trevor Bailey calling him " a slow bowler ,with the temperament of fast bowler." I think I remember Shane Warne saying he was influenced heavily by watching him. That description would fit Warne too.

I made my adult cricket debut against Aston Unity as a 19 year old. A towering Zimbawian international called Dave Dinsmore destroyed us - all out for 25. A couple of years later he sadly collapsed and died whilst in his mid-20’s I remember reading.
There’s also Micky and Alec Stewart. And Shaun and Graham Pollock.
