Panic and hysteria

He really struggled around that time frame mate.
Ive seen him several times since about 2007. Fantastic these days. Very industrial.

Saying that - im only a whippersnapper and The Smiths were long split up by the time i was born :joy:

I’ve seen Morrisey at NEC but prefer the Smiths’ concerts.

You are a very Charming Man!

Gary Numan is doing better now than ever. The press took a disliking to him and tried to destroy him. Thankfully he has bounced back. I think he was recently number 1 or 2 in album charts. He concerts are always sold out. He comes across as a very humble man.

It’s ever since he started that erection cure business! It was hard at the start but he soon got it up and running!

Welcome to the Ninnies - what position do you play?

They have. You just haven’t worked out the cunning plan yet

Mansfield invest , and guess what … the fans back them in record numbers.

Unfortunately we’ve gone the opposite way :weary:

And all that money behind them and they still can’t get out of this league…yet.

Yep but they are building and getting closer, and their fans can clearly see that.

Let’s face it: we just can’t compete, even in Division 4! We are mid-table at best. Perhaps we need to adjust our expectations and accept this fact. It makes it easier in some ways. After all: it’s the hope that kills ya!

Yep, this will be the first season since relegation that I am absolutely not expecting to be challenging for promotion. Not good for the future!

When the people at the top genuinely want the club to progress up the leagues rather than tick along bringing a few quid in for investors then I can totally understand getting behind it.

Well done Mansfield. They have a ruthless, winning mentality.

I still cannot understand people knocking their chairman for the DJ saga. The bloke was ruthlessly looking after their interests in a way our board should operate in the market. The hatred and then celebrations when they failed was ridiculous - I was jealous!

Granted, it didnt work, but if I was a stags fan and he let DJ go to a rival who then became a play off contender I would have been pissed off.

Doing everything he could in his power to protect his footballing asset. He will get them out this league sooner rather than later. Meanwhile…over at the Bescot…

I put the lack of season ticket sales right at the door of Trivela. After such a dismal end to the last season, they should have been trying to instill some excitement in the team. They should have tried to make a statement signing earlydoors such as DJ to try to motivate supporters to renew their season tickets. Instead: what did we get? A month-long search for a manager that ended up with the guy in temporary change! I’m not saying that Mat isn’t the right person but it doesn’t exactly smack of dynamic ambition.

We’ve gone from relentless pragmatism under Bonser to incremental tedium under Trivela! FFS prove me wrong, Ben: where’s the excitement? BTW - I hope Mat enjoys his day at Edgbaston - I hope he’s got his phone with him!!

Love to know how many we sold! Club usually announces so the lack of any season ticket info tells me it’s bad x
