Play-off dreams over?

Waste of a season.

Thought it the day we appointed Mat Sadler.
Confirmed it day one
Reaffirmed it week after week.

Get him out the club.

Barrow 0 Bradford City 1 (29 min)

Pointon their No 23 scoring. I was impressed with him on Saturday.

And just like that we’re 10th.

Top half is progress. Not as quick as we’d like but everything slowly coming together better than it not coming together at all.

Could do with Bradford scoring another three or four

Always picked one with nowt in it .

Looking at that league table , we haven’t half cocked it up!

Spot on, my feelings too, we are not quite ready, I personally want us to go up with no questions asked if at all possible. No relying on X, Y or Z having to do this that or the other

Fooked it right up!!

No getting away from that single fact ,regardless of your view as to wether we’ve made progress or not .or how good a team we are .

Been watching Colchester vs Doncaster, Colchester started well but look every bit of a side near the bottom now. They never have two more goals in them!

One’ll do to keep the " straws " clutchable until Saturday.
Unlikely but why not keep hoping til it’s totally over. :face_with_peeking_eye:

I’ve been keeping hope, but even a draw isn’t good enough with the GD.
I said not long ago I’ve enjoyed the here and now rather than being one of those constantly saying we won’t do it so they can just say ‘told you so’ at the end.

As i said on the Bradford match thread. We’ve had probably 8-10 chances over the last few weeks/couple of months, where results went our way and we could of got in, well cemented our place in there actually.

Bloody infuriating and thats the reason I dont buy into this “best season we’ve had since coming down”, “most points”, “most goals” lark.

We bottled it - pure and simple. Id go as far to say that it was probably on a silver platter.

To be fair, other clubs have bottled it too. There’s a reason most teams around us, including us, have a shit goal difference. In another season most of us would probably be nowhere near to be honest. It isn’t just us messing it up, we just gave others a head start.

Exactly, it’s a step forward rather than a leap forward but given we’ve not really took a step forward and made genuine progress from one season to the next since 2015/16 it’s a start. I said in August that would we’ve gone in and achieved this season would amount to a relatively successful season, particularly given it’s with a fairly young squad the majority of whom are signed up to next season. Big summer of recruitment coming up to support the group but for once the focus can be in quality rather than quantity.

Given it’s looking like there will be nothing on Saturdays game it will be interesting who Sadler selects, surely no point in anyone featuring who won’t be here next season.

Doncaster were 20th on March 08 .

Bottling it is a bit harsh but after our fabulous 5 game winning run it looks like 17 points would have been enough from our final 11 games, given our run in has on the whole been fairly favourable it wasn’t an insurmountable number of points and definitely feels like we’ve left a few points out there in recent weeks.
