Play Offs

They must be print at home tickets then rather than ones you can stick on your phone - another ball ache as you say

You can’t blame Chesterfield for us giving out tickets to our fans who just travelled to Vale, Crewe and Notts (about 200 miles in total) and not giving them to those who went to Barrow, Carlisle and Gillingham where it’s probably 200 just one way to just one match.
By the way, I’m not knocking those who just did the local away matches, but the way the regular loyal travellers (and I’m not one of them) have been treated is poor.

Alot were pay on the gate for Notts, which wouldn’t go on the season ticket history.

Ours have a QR code in-between those arrows and the message “to be inserted this way”.

Let me check, I had about ten tabs open when I was looking, probably missed it.

people need to wise up a bit and either know that it might come back to bite them or buy in advance. That’s not related to anyone who’s has tech issues that isnt user error, but so many fans say ive been to 5 aways but paid on the gate etc etc unfortunately for them that’s their look out what can the club reasonably do?!

You are indeed correct.

We still sold around 1400 in advance if I remember rightly though.

We have also sold out at Chesterfield this season.

There is nothing wrong with just going to local away games, but the point is that some who have been to every single one could potentially miss out. That shouldn’t be allowed to happen and is totally avoidable.

Yes I agree, they should have spent 30 minutes scrutinizing every ticket application, double checking which games they have attended and how far away they are etc. Just watch it on TV if you can’t get a ticket, there will be loads for the more important 2nd leg and Wembley ( should pigs learn to fly).

Against Sheppey last year they allocated tickets via a ballot. A bit more random but fairer perhaps?

Obviously they still need to fairly limit the eligibility to enter any ballot in the first place but (as someone who regularly does every game each season - including the ballache mid-week long journeys in the minor competitions) just going on number of other games can also be unfair. If I get a ticket for a sellout away game and you don’t I’m already +1 on you for the next limited allocation. Think what it would be like if we did ever increase our base support numbers like has been discussed on other threads :exploding_head:

The allocation is just to small, there was always going to be a lot of disappointment.

I think both clubs could of offered 2k each, and still got their regulars in.

That was awful

I genuinely mean this, I’d rather a fan such as yourself get one for a game than myself. I’ve been a 100% home and away fan for most of my life but circumstances mean I can’t quite do that these days.

It’s only right those that do the hard miles get first dibs.

Good shout Sid I prefer watching Walsall of late withe a beer in my hand can cry in it as well .

Cheers mate but, although I would be (very) upset if I didn’t get one, I don’t think I have any more right to get one than someone else who is passionate about the club but doesn’t have the advantages I have (financial, transport, time, understanding family, etc) that allows me to be able to go to any and all games.

Sheppey was 100 Tickets wasn’t it? Ballot was the only fair way ffs :see_no_evil_monkey:

They will be given an additional allocation just before the second leg. We did the same with Barnsley after our battering there.

Hmmmph. Disappointed not to get one. Can’t help but feel they set the criteria too low. Should have been 5 away games.
