Did everyone queuing get one? You’d be fuming being in a line all morning only to be told they’re sold out
I think there was still a long queue when they sold out.
No problems online at 9am this morning, ticket sorted (home leg), only slight issue was that could bot requeat a digital ticket.
I do think the bar was set far too low for the tickets away to Chesterfield.
I’m one of the lucky ones but I would have been mightily ticked off if I hadn’t been successful this morning given that I have attended every away game this season.
The club needs to look at this and take steps to avoid it happening again.
Ive just got back after going to the ground to queue coz couldn’t get through on the phone etc - queued for around 90 minutes
Whilst there they announced that the away leg was sold out - so I decided to wait to get the home ST seat tickets and a few for the locker to watch the away leg in there - bloke in front of me (not a STH but with history of buying match day tickets) bought 8 tickets for the home leg!
I’m really disappointed not to get the away tickets as I’ve done 6 awaydays this season but they said that 2,000 fans qualified for the away leg tickets which I found a strange
Surely the loyalty points system needs to implemented for next season.
If you do the miles its only fair to be rewarded
Big demand and few tickets there will always be disappointment whatever way you do it. I have been to 8 away this season including Gillingham but missed out i am not angry with how the club have sold the tickets but still angry we didnt win the league. Good luck to those who got tickets unlucky to those that missed out. Lets get to Wembley and we can all get as many tickets as we want
when you consider we took 2k+ to Port Vale, Notts County and Crewe, you could have guessed it was about this number who would have been eligible for tickets based on 3 away games.
Unreal. So they knew that there was a risk of people that had been to every or most away games missing out to people that may have gone to 3 local away games all season. In fact, on those figures, with c1000 available, a pretty good chance.
Absolute dicks.
I’ve been to Bromley, Gillingham, Colchester, Barrow,Grimsby and many more as some of you know and I’ve not got 1, but i wasn’t fussed
8 tickets for the home leg is really wrong mate isn’t it?. Smacks of greed by the club just to sell out.
We will struggle to sell out at home anyway. Anyone who wants 1 will get 1.
They said 4 per ST holder, so I’m assuming that person had two ST with him at the window?
I think they went straight on general sale for the home leg with ST seats reserved until Saturday
Didn’t you spend most of the second half at the Bar at Barrow? Can’t say as I blamed you tho it was dire!!
Looking forward to Sunday, aslong as we’re still in the tie going into the second leg I’d happily take it.
Don’t want a repeat of Barnsley
Yes, my mistake.
I just had a look on the ticket site. There are less than 50 tickets available in lower, the majority in block 5. (Appreciate ST seats are reserved until Saturday).
Will sell out.
If they knew 2000 qualified then why not make the criteria higher. Ridiculous really.
I’m sorry you didn’t get one mate.
I think the lower has a higher uptake of season tickets than anywhere else in the ground.
I doubt it will sell out though mate, can’t see it myself. 8000 if I had to take a guess, maybe more if we get a good result on Sunday.
As I said in my post - he wasn’t a STH…. Seemed crazy but as long as he was buying them in non STH seat areas (he had them in the away end home allocation) then he could have them….
Ive no problem with genuine fans buying em up if they use them and he knew that area would be free from any STH so fair play to him - not blaming him for anything and if it sells out then it’ll be good for everyone…
Bit bugged about missing out on the away leg but that’s the way it goes I suppose….
