Play Offs

Shocking , terrible .

I don’t agree with this at all!

I’m going to be generous and say there are some new fans out there, perhaps not regulars, who they felt deserved a chance to get a ticket. There’s a risk that the club never attracts new fans if the criteria is too high to get a ticket.

To clarify I’ve done 9 away games this season and didn’t get one for the play off at chesterfield.

The club can make it up to me by winning at Wembley. UTS

We never left it in some ways mate these people are here to make a return on there investment one way or the other.

I only pay £26 for ours. I’ve cancelled it now, I only got it for the few night games I couldn’t make.

Be worth looking around see if you can get it cheaper though.

Well I’m confused coz they charged me £1.50 each - I got 3….

I know why. You bought it at the shop didn’t you? Hence no ticketmaster.

:+1:

Well personally I’d rather drive down there than the robdogs at Ticketmaster getting the money…

I didn’t know about account holders, but then again it still won’t let me register for Saddler+ I’m a technophobic fossil though.

Don’t go then!
There’s plenty who will.

In my opinion Ben Sadler comes out of this looking like a bit of a clown.
As others have said, if they knew the ST +3 aways cohort was 2k, they would have known the two cohorts that straddled the limit of the allocation, so the first one that was below it should have got the first window.

Also the self-induced chaos of putting the home sales on at a time when eligible away ticket qualifiers are battling known bugs in the system - crazy!

The tone of the tweet regarding The Locker - “we have costs to open”, hate that sort of thing. Its a gift of an opportunity to make a tidy bit of unbudgeted income, its the old “we’re doing the plebs a favour” tone we’ve come to recognise so well, doesn’t take long does it?? Pomlett’s mentoring obviously going well.

Walsall FC, pee–ing off its fanbase re big game tickets since Arsenal at home in 1933.

Couldn’t agree more mate

I posted elsewhere - one of his key objectives as CEO is to develop and implement a growth strategy - he’s failing miserably at the minute….

Chesterfield have also now completely sold out on their side too

60p won’t be going to HMRC for a good while, given we’ve got a £1.7m loss to carry forward from last year.

It always strikes me when it comes to “growth” at Walsall FC, that the first avenue they seek to exploit is to effect maximum pip-squeeze from the existing fanbase, rather than seek to grow it. Whenever anyone puts that argument forward, you’ll always get folks defending them that go…“well don’t go then…don’t buy any merch…don’t go to The Locker” etc etc.

How much cash will we make from the playoff games then? if 50% go to EFL then the rest is split between the clubs. 10,000 plus at Chesterfield, 8,000 at Walsall, i bet Notts will have a good gate.

I did try to do the maths in my head but…

I won’t lol gutted ..

:rofl::rofl:

You have to pay to go into a pub, to purchase over priced Beer .

say 45,000 over the 4 games at £20 a ticket is £900k minus costs £100k, then split with EFL so £400k between the 4 teams - £100k for the semi finals at a guess excluding the final.

They should be arranging a big screen at the Bezla, free entry and two quid a pint as a sorry for the fact we’re in the play offs at all and a thank you to the fans.
