Play Offs

Don’t think they did no.

Just went to ground and got my allocated ticket for home match but there weren’t any other available tickets in our block. Only ST holders who don’t want to go will be available.

I thought it was ST holders, but as @Poloman said it wasn’t. It was anyone with a registered account.

I think that they are desperate to sell as many as possible before Sunday, in case we get bollocked in the first leg.

Just recieved my ticket via email

I’m not sure a lot of people know this but I am fairly sure you can return your ticket if it is 48 hours before kick off. I heard a conversation at the ticket office window after the Accrington game where some were returning Crewe tickets that backed this up.

Not much changes at Walsall in reality we’re Walsall Fans , To the club we’re just paying customers.I decided after Crewe not another penny of mine goes into there coffers this season after that awful 3 months since January under clueless management.I’ll reassess after seeing what conclusions Trivela come to when these playoffs are over .I have little enthusiasm left for these 3 games I’m sad to say .Hope all of you that do go and pays your money and supports the team get some reward you certainly deserve to.For you dads out there taking you kids and trying to give them some great times as a saddler they sure have made things tough for you .

There are a lot of people who only go to away games. Walsall fc get next to no income from that (a small percentage of away tickets sold by the our ticket office and none from on the day sales at the away club) I think it would not be fair to prioritize those who travel over those who are regular home fans.

From the Chesterfield official website:

So provided all their season ticket holders take up their seats the game is a capacity sell out.

But the criteria would/should be Season Ticket + x amount of away games. I agree you have to give season ticket holders priority.

Yes I agree.

I’ve seen a few who’ve done 15 plus away games this season and haven’t got a ticket.
That can’t be fair or right.

Really wish the club would fudge ticketmaster off. My dads account wasn’t letting him have a ticket in his seat for the home game so we had to go down this afternoon and get them in person.

Feel sorry for the fans wanting away tickets to go through that debacle.

That’s clearly unfair and the club really seriously needs to look at establishing a fair process rather then shooting from the hip on a once in a while basis…

The fact that children and adults with ST and meeting the criteria wouldn’t get access to a ticket is just plain wrong..

A disabled STH with a carer STH couldn’t be booked together online either - there are legal accessibility standards to be observed by all organisations so the club is way out of line on this and will have to answer questions about this mess..

£3 to get in the locker to watch it. That is just taking the piss if you ask me.

I saw a post with Ben Sadler defending it saying half of it goes to ticketmaster. First off stop using ticketmaster, secondly -zero goes to them if you don’t charge. Drink sales should be where the profit is.

It’s on Sky, most people can find somewhere to watch it for free.

I have just had an email back from the ticket office (no apology) but stating my Dad had only attended 2 away games - when (in my first email) I had shown there are at least 3 tickets in his name purchased. I have now since re-sent that evidence - and will let you know what the reply is.

Something has clearly gone wrong somewhere - what pisses me off is there is no apology, statement or accountability. It’s like we have been transported back to the Pomlett, Mole and Gamble era again.

Honestly - so Ticketmaster get a cut from
Locker ticket sales??? It beggars belief dunnit….

And what does Ticketmaster do to deserve its cut - it ain’t like it’s Glastonbury or Oasis gigs is it!

Mad and crazy situation the club gets itself into…

It’s £1.50 for the locker entry for the game - so the club is getting 75 pence per paying customer - they’d attract more folk in simply making it free entry and making more profit from wet and dry sales….

No clear thinking in the club on these issues…

If they’re worried about it getting full then that’s what the security in the door is for - yes it’s unfortunate if you turn up late and it’s full but that’s the same for anything that’s free entry - just get things sorted Ben - we are looking very very amateurish as we get a bit busier - your role as CEO is to oversee a growth strategy - FFS get it done will ya….
